Even after I found out he shoplifts and smokes marijuana,
Even after I found out one of my friends doesn't like him,
Even after another friend told me we wouldn't work out,
Even after my sister told me I was too good for him,
Even after I told myself I was over him,
Even after I realized I wasn't good enough for him,
Even after I convinced myself we'd never be together,
Even after I screwed up asking him out,
My love for him still grows.

Oh....hmmm.....I think you would better forget him. He does sound like a total jerk. I know it's very difficult, but that's the right thing.

I think you're hung up on a guy but appear to be trying to make excuses of why you can't be together. *shrugs* The only item on that list that would concern me is the first one (because those 2 things are crimes).

I think that you need to seek counseling and find out why you want to stick with such an abusive relationship. men like this can destroy your life, and I dont know how old you are, but there will be plenty more men. he has no respect for himself or others and he wont have any for you. if you stick with this relationship you will be in more pain then you think you are now

It sounds like you ARE too good for him. in general, if that's what all the people who are close to you think, it's usually true.
