Do you think it's ok to date/marry interracially if both people are willing to understand the difficulties they "may" face? I am asking this because someone I know said that if you marry interracially that the people go to hell. Is this true?

[ teens 12-15 ] Dont you hate when you ask a question about a relationship or bf or gf and people answer and are like "oh dont worry about it your too young" ? its so stupid! ADULTS if you think you know what your talking about, you DONT! try coming to a MIDDLE SCHOOL! it is frickin crazy! so if you ask a question [teens] about a relationship dont listen to people who tell you that your too young! they are WRONG! and if your an adult who is saying that sh!t then stop!

Okay so here's the deal
I think that i may like my best guy friend. It's kind of a tricky situation though because we met through my best friend and her [now ex] boyfriend. My best friend encourages me to go out with him, and i don't know if i really like him or not.

He also sends me mixed signals:
he always says hi to me in the halls and stuff
he gives me hugs all the time
&& i know he thinks of me as one of his good friends

but on the other hand
he never calls me
he rarely answers my calls
[but lots of his friends tell me he never answers his phone anyways]
&& he usually won't go out of his way to talk to me

we always have fun together
so i was wondering based on that
if he could mabye like me
or if he just sees me as a friend

ps:
he has had some tragedies in his life and he doesn't really like to talk about them although he has shared part of them with me plus he has a brother with mental disabilites so could this keep him from wanting to get too close to me

i was super close with my best guy friend a couple years ago, but we decided to go out and that was the best year of my life. i was so afraid of commitment though, i was young and i didnt want to deal with it. i broke it up, and since then things just started falling apart. now we barely talk and I ABSOLTLY HATE IT!!! i take everything back! ive dated other people but no one compares to him. i cry every day because i just miss him so much, we're so opposite and i like it that way. im girly and hes some punk skater. i already told him my feelins and he said that i should just forget about him because he doesnt want to go back. but i know he has to miss what we had, nothing compares to what we had. the point is, its been about 3 weeks since i told him i loved him and he broke up with his girlfriend. is this a sign? ive given him space and i cant take anymore of this "waiting" i love him and i want him back, but how is this going to happen? can someone please tell me some things i can do?

Well I've been in this relationship for awhile with this guy. He used to be so good to me and now he is treating me terrible. Ignoring me when I call or text him, and when he comes online I will try and talk to him and he won't say anything. Just a few says ago he was nice to me, treating me good, and saying he loves me. Now he is completely ignoring me and he does this often, talking one day and then ignoring me the next. But he has never been this bad, not even speaking to me. I'm crying and don't know what to do, because I'm still in love.

In the writing center lab at my school, there's a really attractive tutor that helps students with their essays and what not. I'm not normally a shy person but around her I am - I can and literally do talk to random people on the street all the time; and no, I'm not crazy just very social. With her however, I was too shy to even talk to her. At the same time, she might be older than; she looks like she's 18 or 19 and I just turned 18 a few days ago. I finally got the courage to talk to her and asked her to join me for lunch after she's done tutoring for the day. Her reply, however, was "I have a boyfriend," but she was nice about it and was smiling. We both laughed and smiled as we said our good-byes. My real question is, do I pursue to get to know her, or is that a sign to just back off? And I really do mean get to know her, not try to steal her from her boyfriend.

this new cute lovely man does exaggrate things especialy financial matters, he says he has a very rich father who will support him and that makes thier family quiet wealthy, it is clear that he comes form a good family but not THAT rich, and for more info. i come from a rich family and people know that, could it be that? why does he exaggrate????????

I have trouble with this because men who are "straight" would never even think of going "bi" anything. I am a person of such a curious lifestyle and I find it is very appealing to men. so there's this guy and he's so nice and stuff, and i (was) pretty sure he liked me. but i'm confused. i call him on the phone (usually only once a week), and he always asks me if i will hang out with him and his friends during lunch. okay. so i go over there and then i get sort of nervous and i leave (i don't know if this pisses him off). i told him i was going over to the library. then i gave him a note that says 'you should call me :)'. he hasn't called me, in fact he never calls me, but he acts like he likes me. if he was annoyed by me why would he pick up the phone whenever i call (both have caller ID)? he used to hug me all the time then he tried to (playfully) touch my butt, but i scooted away from him (while laughing) and he hasn't hugged me since. i don't know if he likes me or is just being nice, i don't know what to do??? and i really like him.

One moment he tells me that there will be a chance of us getting together but the next moment he tells me that there will be no chance.

He still replies to my text msgs and will contact me whenever I stop contacting him. He shows his concern for him whenever I'm sick or upset. At other times, He seems uninterested and leaves me alone. Why is he acting this way? From what I know, there is no other love interest in his life and he is NOT a play boy. He is unlikely to treat girls as his sparetypre.

Over the last five months, an old friend of mine and I have started hanging out again. She's a really nice girl, but I have a major problem. I think I've fallen for her boyfriend. I feel terrible. But the thing that really bothers me is that I think her boyfriend has feelings for me too. For a while, we were really good friends, and then I think we both kinda realised how we felt, and now we barely talk. It's really hurtful. My boyfriend is 22 and I'm 19. I'm an econ major and doing the premed program also, while he is studying to be an electrical engineer. I want to go to the best medical school and become a surgeon one day. We already go to schools in different cities. but somehow we managed to hold on. We see each other every chance we get. But i wonder what would happen after college? I would probably not be as close anymore. I may be so far away from him. I'm very ambitious and so is him. He said that he may move with me to wherever my med school is. Are we just lying to ourselves? Do you think if this will ever work out? I think we love each other. my best friend aka my ex-gf (of 1 and a half years)is a very beautiful and talented girl and is about to audition for a neutrogena commercial and is being offered an agent and all these acting classes and stuff free.. she talks about being big and famous...and i am afraid that it migt happn and she'll forget all about me and that we wont be able to spend enough time together ...... i wantto be happy for her and i most certainly am but i cant deny the fact that i feel like ill be a thing of her past if she becomes big and famous...i don want to tell her but it makes me very sad cuz maybe if she does becme famous she's been told she will be doing alot of traveling and i really like spending time with her( i still love her) what should i do?

Say you love someone, but when do you know you've crossed the line into being obessed about your partner?

Could it be when they say they're going out, that they'll be back later but don't tell you where (as in they've just got up and left like that) and you kinda sit there nervous with butterflies in your stomach?

Just a question I was thinking about... when does one cross the line?

were both 17. this girl has pillow fights with me, puts her photo into my phone as wallpaper, calls up my friends, even parents for jokes, even though i dont find it amusing, always laughs at my jokes, she gets very close to me, and wont move away.....and likes to touch me alot, and play with things i have. i get mixed signals though, as sometimes during the day she wont talk to me at all, cause she studies, but when were together she cant stop talking, and offering me food, and drinks, and going out places.One thing she does alot is curls up and goes to sleep for like a minute,and then wakes up, and does it again......whats all this mean???she also tells me about times when shes stressed at school and so forth....one thing thats really wierd though, she likes to know what her name is on my phone when it rings???.........need help, im from canada btw guys. I like this girl heaps, and need her to know that, cause im really scared of losing her to someone else

okay this is what he does...

- in class when i feel him looking at me, i look at him, and there he is with a big smile.
- he sumtimes looks at me when he's playing soccer.
- when i talk to him, he seems nervous to talk back (he's very shy).
- when he sees me in the hallway, he looks at me but then looks away (when i see him)
- when i say bye to him after school he says bye back very shyly with a smile.
- in class when sumone's messing with me, he sticks up for me.
- also once after school when i was walking behind him and his friend, they looked back at me, and they both smiled.

My best friend and i have been close for about three years. We just recenrtly found out that we feel the same way about each other but decided not to committ to a relationship because it's crazy time in our lives right now. It turns out he's always liked me this whole time and i had no clue. He told me that if he wants something serious and long lasting with me.

Nowadays, he'll "fish" for answers concerning other guys and always ask, "if i go out with someone, theoretically speaking, how would you feel..." I keep telling him to do it but why does he care? If he likes the other girl, then he should. This is interesting, then he said, "well, if me and some girl break up, at least i know you'll always be there..." (as a friend)

We have such a cool history together - we've been best friends - soo close, can talk to each other about everything and yet this whole time we've liked each other and didn't know.

Does he still love me? and why is he doing this?

Iam a guy who has this huge crush on a 17 year old. and its been buggin me since i was 18 and she was 16. SHes a junior in high school and I substitute teach high school (not the reason why I work there garunteed). I know it sounds ridiculous but
I know that some people really frown upon a young adult dating an older teen. Is this doable I mean, I dont have any sexual motives for her or anything like that.(were both church goers). Iam 19 and still a virgin and I wanna keep it that way till iam married(i made it this far).
