were both 17. this girl has pillow fights with me, puts her photo into my phone as wallpaper, calls up my friends, even parents for jokes, even though i dont find it amusing, always laughs at my jokes, she gets very close to me, and wont move away.....and likes to touch me alot, and play with things i have. i get mixed signals though, as sometimes during the day she wont talk to me at all, cause she studies, but when were together she cant stop talking, and offering me food, and drinks, and going out places.One thing she does alot is curls up and goes to sleep for like a minute,and then wakes up, and does it again......whats all this mean???she also tells me about times when shes stressed at school and so forth....one thing thats really wierd though, she likes to know what her name is on my phone when it rings???.........need help, im from canada btw guys. I like this girl heaps, and need her to know that, cause im really scared of losing her to someone else

asked this girl to the movies the other day, not as a date, but just said, lets go movies tonite...., she accepted, then said " will you be paying for my movie???"....whats that mean??i said yes of course...is that a hint?Sometimes, shell never txt me during the day, and if i txt her....she txt's back almost instantly....and then she'll not txt again for ages....whats this mean...this is when i get the feeling shes not interested.

Ask her how her day's been going; ask her if she did anything special over the weekend; ask her what she thinks of her teachers; what bands does she like?

Then make it a point to remember her answers! Because remembering shows you care! If I say that I am stressed out because Mr. X (my teacher) is mean and then, a few days later, the guy asks if Mr. X has lightened up any or if he's still a hard @ss, then I know that this guy's paying attention to me and is concerned about my issues.

Compliment her on her clothes or perfume or jewelry. When a guy says to me "Wow, red is really your color!" I appreciate the compliment.

That's just a girl's way dear. You know, sometimes, before being sure that a guy likes her, a girl will be as friendly as possible to him, his mates, family and even to his dog (if he has one). She'll send him text messages, talk to him a lot and suddenly, she'll stop talking or texting the guy, not because she doesn't wanna speak to him, you're wrong if you have thought of that! It's just because she's 'giving' the guy time to miss her. And if you have sent her messages when she wasn't replying and you thought she was busy or whatever, then I'm 75% sure that it wasn't of all that. I think she wanted to know if you'll text her or if you'll let her pending.
I think she likes you, so just don't sit back and wait for someone to take her away! Ask her out mate!

First, put things into perspective. Does she treat you differently from her other guy friends? Maybe she's just the touchy, sweet, bubbly girl to everyone.

If she treats you differently then something must be going on. I think she's open to the thought of being in a relationship with you.

Spend time with her and be extra nice, she'll figure that you like her as well. As you get to spend more time together and communicate, you can down the road clarify each others' feelings.

She could be playing a little hard to get... that's kind of what it sounds like to me. I think she either likes you but it trying to make you make the first move, or she is just a big flirt and doesn't like you. But you should probably know which is true much better than me since you know the girl. ;) And I think the "Will you be paying?" thing was kind of a subtle "Is it a date?" question. Good luck!

the reason why she is distant at times is probablly because she doesn't know if you like her or not and she is feeling insucure or she could be really stressed with school
you just need to take advantage of one of the moments when you guys are having a great time and ask her if she would like to go on a date and if things go good
