Singles & Dating - 17 March 2007

Here's the deal. I have been with my boyfriend for two months and I have come to the conclusion that he is an extremely introverted person; quiet, very to himself, and hardly opens up about his feelings and whatnot making it a challenge for me to really know him better. We are together usually during the week about 4 days and during the weekends, it seems as though he takes his "mental days" and chooses to stay in his home and do his own things-studying, game playing, etc. and hardly sees me so I'm stuck on the weekends kinda boyfriendless if you know what I mean. When we are together- everything is GREAT and we have a great time and he is very lovey. When we don't see each other-its as if I don't exist and he rarely calls. After 2 months he still calls me by my 1st name- wheres the affectionate pet name I expect? I'm just wondering why he doesn't call me, even for a sec to say Hi more often and act like I don't exist when we don't see each other.

How would you feel if your fiance (could be girlfriend or wife, etc.- but please only answer this in regards to a serious relationship) asked you to wear something like this? I want to get something like this for my fiance to wear. Also, how should the matter be approached?

lol ok what i know this is a really wierd question but if anyone could help me that would be great! so i like a guy, and i was just wondering what a good e-mail to send him would be. i want to send him an e-mail that he will really want to respond to, but i don't want to sound like i'm clingy. i know this is wierd, but this is pretty much the only way i can talk to him so any help would be great! thanks for any comments!

I've been with my bf for more than 3 years now. Even though we say that we love each other sometimes, I don't know what it really means. We talk about marrying, and living together sometimes, and we get excited (especially him). The thing is we are so young. I'm 19 and he is 22. So I get confused sometimes. My friends tell me that if it's meant to be it's meant to be. But I still stress about it sometimes, like i'm unsure if he truly loves me or cares for me. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but i really can't help it sometimes. Am I wrong for doing this? How do you tell if your bf loves you?

with me? Could this work out? I am 37, divorced with two beautiful daughters, 9 & 8 yrs old... he is 27, never been married... he says he only ever dates older women and seems mature. I like this asian guy but because hes asian i fear he only likes smart asian girls. I know im not that smart but I am active(ie invovled in many sports), and I don't wear makeup. Last fall semester, I had statistics class and talked with a beautiful girl named Wendy. She told me she had a boyfriend. Last winter semester, I had psychology class and talked with an okay looking girl also named Wendy. She and I were in the study group. One time, it was just us 2 in the study group, and we had a good chats. This semester in spring, I have Chinese class with another girl named Wendy..., and she's not very pretty. How long would you consider to long to be in the "talking status"? I am intrested in a guy that I began talking to a while a few months ago. At first he came on kind of strong and then backed off. I feel this may have partially been my fault in that I was not ready for a new relationship and wanted to take time to get to know one another. Still it seems as though we are both guilty of keeping strings on each other. Yet we do not see each other for weeks at a time. Is this normal?

He shows up at my door unannounced and keeps standing there knocking until I let him in. I live alone. I don't want people to see a guy standing outside knocking at my door constantly. I had initially liked him & we were clicking as friends for a very short time, b4 I came to know he was engaged to be married. He mentioned I was his fantasy. Then he got married, and now he just shows up at my door, wanting to come in and be close to me. I have tried telling him constantly how I dont want us to meet anymore, but he simply does it again. He hasn't tried anything drastic & neither would I allow him, but I simply hate this situation, and for him to want to cheat on his wife, and I cannot allow it! How should I stop him once & for all? Help me. :( I am really afraid of him now. I know I am being stupid for even opening the door. I am being good to him out of politeness. Do I need to get mean?

My female coworker (CW),her girl friend-Iraqi (GF), me- Palestinian boy. Plan: CW thought we share same cultural, language background we might click. GF is up for meeting me.CW arranged meeting @coffeeshop for 3 of us.
CW in first 10 minutes ask me what I am doing this week end. ME:nothning. GF:do u like dancing-clubbing. I think i have very low self esteem or something. Because.. i think i don't look good or i'm not pretty, and then a hot guy whistles at me or yells "hey, hottie" and last night this car of seven 20 year olds were honking at me.. and screaming random pick-up lines out of their car... then i kinda wonder if it's just me... my really good friends tell me everyday how beautiful i am. (i'm not conceited, i'm just telling you how it is.) But i don't think i can even compare to the girls that these guys at my high school like. Also, guys don't really think of me as more than just what i look like. I'm sick and tired of it!! My good friend told me that, that's what guys think of me.. and he is a guy!! it hurt alot.

is this a self esteem problem?? if so.. how do i fix this??
