ive been talking to her a lot on aim
somewhat in person
we hang out in different groups
im a lot taller than she is
like 10 inches
we do have similarities though
umm
parents know eachother so its a lil weird
should i even tell her? if so .. how ?

Just say "can I tell you something" and then she says yes and then you say "i dont want this to change anything, but I do like you more than a freind" its a simple as that!

Not on AIM, it would be better in person. That would show the girl that you're not afraid of talking about your feelings in person, which is great. Tell her that you'd like to talk her, take her aside and tell her straight out that you like her. It's forward, and to the point, but not too forward because like you said - you talk a lot over AIM.

Get to know her better. Don't worry about height, that doesn't matter. Nor does the parents knowing each other. Wait until you're absolutely sure you like her for who she truly is, before you tell her that you do.

talk to her in person more.
if you just form a relationship on im, it will be somewhat fake because that relationship doesn't necessarily translate to face to face relationships. So, once your real life relationship is solid, it would be okay to tell her on IM, but not ideal. The best way is always, always in person.

heights of height issue,chk out the no.1 couple of bollywood i.e.. amitabh bacchan and jaya bacchan at imdb.com profiles, see them he is like 6'2" and she is some like 5'2" they look goood together.and more over "love knows nothing but love"

if someone just typed "i like you" to me, i would be kinda think"..huh?!..."maybe you should ask her if she wants to go to a school event with you. this isn't as forward. at a school event, it wouldn't be as awkward to being by yourselves. then at the dance or where ever you go, drop some hints that you like her. ask her if she has a boyfriend or if she likes anyone.
height doesn't matter.

ummmm...just dont worry about the height difference to start out with!!!!!i am like 5feet and my gf was10 in, taller then me too!!! so dont worry but as for telling her on aim... its fine....i told my current gf on aim and we went out like 15minutes after i told her

oh jeeze i woodnt tell her on aim, tell her in person. i dont think it is very wise to say stuff like that on aim or ask people out on aim or anything like that. when your face to face say sumthing
