How long would you consider to long to be in the "talking status"? I am intrested in a guy that I began talking to a while a few months ago. At first he came on kind of strong and then backed off. I feel this may have partially been my fault in that I was not ready for a new relationship and wanted to take time to get to know one another. Still it seems as though we are both guilty of keeping strings on each other. Yet we do not see each other for weeks at a time. Is this normal?

Shortest time from initial meeting to bedroom for me -- a few hours.
Longest time -- 24 years.
Each situation is different.
