Lots and lots of therapy to find out why you keep hurting yourself is the only answer.
She obviously does not love you, and you cannot really love someone that abuses you...but you can be addicted to the abuse they give.

What it comes down to in it's simplest form is that relationship is providing you pain that you are either addicted to or feel you deseve.

Good luck, HTH

Easy, choose your self respect over some cheating woman. It's not brain surgery. She doesn't seem to care that you guys have been together for a long time, why should show any loyalty to her? Cheaters rarely change so, either put up or shut up. She's putting your life in danger (STDs) and outright disrespecting you. Get up & walk away. It's easy. There are loads of other women out there. Sure, you're out of the loop a bit but, you can do it. You can learn to live without anyone. Life does go on. You're 38, you know this. It might take you awhile to get over it but, wouldn't you rather have some self respect and be alone for a little while or be with this cheatin' broad and feel like crap? You can do better. Drop her....NOW.

You may never stop loving her but you should kick her to the curb and move on.Living alone when your by yourself is one thing but living alone when you are with someone is a very painful life. It may be that you stay with her because she is all that you've ever known. But keep in mind, she can only cheat and hurt you as long as you will allow her to do it!

I hope you don't take the advice of Shark Gumbo too seriously, all women do not cheat, nor do all men cheat

There are several ways:

1. Let her lovers take you up the a.s.s. a few times. That should fix your feelings for her, though you may develop feelings for her lovers.

2. Be a man and quit saying you have no choice. You have a choice boy you've just decide the play the part of the love sick wimp. Grow up.

3. Admit you prefer this relationship to others becuase you can be the "good one" and never have to face true intimacy with a woman that is there for you. You are scared of a relationship so you do this to cover up your fears and insecurities.

4. You don't really love her, you just like to enable her behavior because you get something out of this role you play. Makes me want to puke. Do you call yourself a man?

Get a life loser.

that is quite a long time so it will take sometime to stop loving her. what you need to do is start acting like allot of these other men and do the same thing back to her. start cheating on her a*s and see how she likes it. she will either let you move on or come to her senses.

Are you happy or are you comfortable? You have to make the choice of which do you prefer! I would think you would prefer happiness but I suspect you stay with her because you feel safe with the same person even though she doesn't treat you very well. So your actions are saying that you prefer to be comfortable.

All women cheat and deceive. If you stop loving her and find someone else, the same will happen. At least you know what's going on. Maybe you could cheat on her and turn the tables.

havent you heard the saying " fool me once, shame on you....fool me twice, shame on me" - meaning you can perhaps forgive once but not twice.. and in your case - too many times, she knows she will get away with it and she will do this forever. You have to find someone else. Leave her and move away or just get her out of your life, you deserve someone who will recipricate your love, not trash it. Good Luck.
