Were or are you and your partner of different races *and* also different generations (more than 10 years apart)? Did it make relating to each other difficult? (I was interested a Chinese guy 18 years younger than me, but it was more difficult because we were 600 mi. apart! I live in Seattle and he lives in Reno.)

I would like to sweep a best friend off her feet and take our relationship to the next level but unsure how. She is very shy and secluded, and I don't know in what way I can tell her I Love Her. I recently bought her a gift for Christmas and haven't had the chance to give it to her, should I tell her how I feel when I hand her the gift? Is that a good technique? I don't want to come off as being too forward or strong because I don't think she can handle the all that emotion. I just need ideas on how to simply state how I feel, while keeping her comfortable. I have had my reasons to thinking she likes me because of the way she sometimes looks at me by keeping her head down, while looking at me with her eyes or inviting me to go play soccer in a nearby field together. She even said to me she bought me a christmas gift and I took that as a special liking towards me. Please Help!

When me and my guy first got together, he KNEW that we have to keep it a secret. My father is ultra conservative and doesn't want me to have a bf. My guy knows this but recently has been begging me to meet his parents and spend the holiday with his family. I want to meet them but I'm afraid that if I meet them they might run into me and my dad one day and say they saw me. Our community is very small and the possibility of my parents and his parents meeting is likely.

I've been rejecting all of my guy's offers to meet his family and I think its driving a wedge between us. I told him upfront how it was going to be if we got together so WHY DOES HE KEEP INSISTING I MEET HIS FAMILY??? Please offer some advice on how to avoid meeting his family without making him mad? THANKS!

my daughter is 21 yrs old very smart. her boyfriend is a dumbass pretty boy. i really dont like him i knew his dad and grandfather bothof them were involved in mafia things. and this guy is no different. he bulls people to to try to make things right. when he was 14 he beat up a grown man by pulling his hair and bashing his head against the ally walls. all the women who dont know him say his looks like a sweet angel but hes not.hes spoild and i really dont like him. i told my daughter that if she stayed with him i wouldnt pay her apt rent and she said shes already precticly living at his place. im not used to her saying no to me shes always done what i tell her to do. what should i do theyve been together for 5 monthes now.

How do i tell my girlfriend of two years i need alone time? I am either working or taking care of her. I am living at home to save up for college and feeding her and taking her out is expensive. Everything at her house is fine. Even though my parents are okay with it my room and bed are too small. I also like writing computer programs and playing video games, but she gets jealous of me being on the computer and says i am "ignoring her". I never get to go out with my friends because they are "bad influences". Her only reason for thinking that is because we got the cops called on us once for sticking bumper stickers on things and all my female friends are "sluts" and i'm gonna cheat on her. Feeding me is easy because i don't require expensive food, noodles and pizza are fine. She requires sit down restaurants or meals that require me to buy 4 or 5 things to make it. Am i crazy for wanting free time? Can i love something i can't stand being around 24/7?

Why do I continously get kicked in the balls by women?
Last couple years, it's been standard fair. We meet, talk on the phone, then have a good time (talking and getting to know one another that is) over dinner or coffee and I feel it'll go somewhere.
And then alas, it doesn't. Don't take it like im sheltered, but im in my mid-twenties. What the hell is going on?

Last week I went out with this cool girl, and we really clicked. She and I were very comfortable around each other and I asked her out for this weekend and she said she'd love to. This was about a week before christmas. I have not heard from her since calling her a couple times since. We were supposed to go out tomorrow night. I know she is buying a house and is running around it's the holidays, but really........I get it. She hasn't gotten back to me, so I moved on, but really


Is she interested or is it over? I ask because I felt something with this girl I haven't with anyone else in a long time, a connection that it could go into a relationship.

wouldn't you think it's weird to not have met a single family member if you had been dating a person that long??....i'm not talking about meeting the parents etc...i didn't think it was a big deal...it's not like i wanted to marry him or anything...i just wanted to be invited into his life....and his family lives in town!

I'm 32 and have been dating a guy for about 3 months - not very long I know. Christmas went well. We even exchanged presents and he gave me a necklace. During the past week I've had maybe a five minute phone conversation from him since.
I've left a couple of messages that have been unreturned which is not like him at all. I'm wondering if he's pulling a "fadeaway" as a way of avoiding the whole breakup scene.

Avoidance is acceptable after a few dates but I guess after 4 months, I expected a little more. I could be paranoid - maybe he's just really busy but then again, I'm not naiive either. Experience has taught me a thing or too. I'm just going to stop pursuing it - if he callls - fine...If not, that's fine too because I don't need this from a 37 yr old man.

Is there anyone who could help me understand the male psyche?? Why invest in a necklace if you're going to stop calling one week later?

Say a guy and a girl were having sex and they had condoms and it was her time of month to get pregnant, and he did it without the condom anyways, until she asked him to put it on so he did and came with the condom on. I recently applied for a job and went in for an interview. There was another guy there. We started talking and he was much more qualified then me. I got nervous and, when he went to use the bathroom, wrote 'convicted rapist' on his resume. He didn't notice it and went in to his interview! I GOT the Job!!!! Am I the greatest?
