Singles & Dating - 26 December 2006

When I was 15, I went to school with this really awesome guy who I ended up having the biggest crush on and I never really knew how to go about talking to him so it was always very awkward small talk over AIM. I am 18 now, and I haven't seen him in person since I was 15, and I still like him so much. I visit his facebook sometimes and try to think of something to say to him, but I really don't know what to say since I have never really spoken to him all that much in person and I haven't said anything to him in a while. Any suggestions as to what I should do to get to know him without sounding awkward and obsessed?

P.S. Keep in mind that he knew I liked him toward the end of my sophomor year.

I often get compliments on being pretty, smart, etc... and that I could easily get a guy if I wanted to.
The problem is guys tend to find me intimidating so they back away. I'm laid back, natural, and I never try to be anything I'm not. But how do I make myself seem more apprachable?

and I have been off and on for 3 1/2 yrs now. We a very attratced to one another sexuallly and phycilally & etc.............. the only problem we have is trust. Now we haven't tried to rebuild another relationship, we just call one another when we need each other, if you know what I mean. I'm okay with that for know and it will continue until I 'm tired. but my thing is how could a man be strongly in love with you once apon atime and can now say that the feelings aren't there anymore but you can still come to this person for intercorse and say the feels aren't coming back. We had a this dicussion , and he says that having intercorse with me doesn't bring feelings back tht he had less that 2 yrs ago. So mu guestion to you is do you think the feelings may still be there because he does come back or do you think he is really coming back for tje lovin? Be honest ! Thanks

this guy sits beside me in class and he's really irritating..he loves to curse me alot..every morning when i go to school, sometimes he'll greet me with a huge grin on his face but sometimes he'll ask me why i'm still alive and not dead yet..i don't know why but he really loves to do that..at times, he'll be so mean with his words but sometimes,he'll be really sweet, listening to my problems and all..so i really don't get what's wrong with him..perhaps he's got issues..i don't get why he have to curse me with all those words...

im gona cut a long story short:
-i saw him at a party last weekend, havent seen him in 6years.
- he added me on msn, he told my friend 'im still sexy'
- he greeted me twice with 'allo gorgeous' and calls me 'babe' etc on msn he also says bye and adds kisses, you know 'xxx'
- since its xmas and we are both busy we havent spoken alot this week.

does he like me or is he just one of those guys who calls all the girls babe and gorgeous. and im not sure about the 'xxx' either cos i know some guy friends who do that too.

I am a carer and i've just finished an 8hour shift. I'm bunged up with cold and my boyfriend has buggerd off down the pub with all of his family leaving the dogs at home all afternoon. Am I being unreasonable by being pissed off because I haven't had an invite and have to look after the dogs or am I just over sensitive coz I'm ill? I could go down there coz I've had a belated invite (by text NICE) but I don't like leaving the dogs for too long coz there only puppys andd need attention etc.

Is it wrong to feel a little jealous because my friend got married?I have been in a off and on relationship with my ex boyfriend we been together 5 years he talked about getting married but he hasn't really even got me a engagement ring.I texted him last night that i luv him he knows what i want, i gave him all of me and i have nothing else to give 2 him,and it was time for me to get what i want and say goodbye.I love him with all my heart but i don't want to waste anymore time, i feel like 5 years is long enough time to know if you want to marry someone or not.We are not together because he wants his freedom to do whatever it is he feels like he has to do but at the same time he doesn't want me out of his life.I don't know what his intentions are anymore i love him but i'm tired of waiting on him for everything.I love him but i know i have to move on if he doesn't feel the same way about me that i feel about him regardless of his feelings.

we have togather for 1 year and 3 months. we were studying in switzerland. Last year she went to paris to do an internship for 6 months and i was in switzerland. She was coming to see me once a month as she truely loved me and wanted to spend rest of her life with me. she showed real care and love. There was another girl who had a crush on me and badly wanted me, so one night in a party i got drunk and she took the adventage and some of my girlfriend's friends show me kissing her and told my gf. she cried a lot and eventually she got to know that i slept with her towice. I understood my mistake and cried a lot and asked for forgiveness but the other girl somehow got my gf's phone number and told her that she wanted to be with me and she was planning a lot of things. So my gf was truely hurt and wanted to know everything from i told her the truth. And she foragve me for the very last time as she truely loved me but things did not go well and she broke up with. she still loves me

We've been dating for at least a couple of years. We have so much in common and complement each other in amazing ways. This best friend of hers seems to get lots of favoritism and openess from her that I don't quite get. I'm not such a drinker and smoker, but he is, so that's another part of the issue. She spends a lot of time with him when I'm at work, as I remember many times he flirted with her in my presence without her even checking him. She says I'm "misreading" the situation when I question some of the weird vibes between them and gets real defensive. She agrees that he should move out for us to have more peace and balance in our relationship. The issue is that she cheated on me when we were first just about living with each other with someone she claimed was just a "friend" at the time, so that obviously has a lot to do with me being not so cool with her flirtatious, but cool best friend having lots of alone time at her place with her. What should I do?
