im gona cut a long story short:
-i saw him at a party last weekend, havent seen him in 6years.
- he added me on msn, he told my friend 'im still sexy'
- he greeted me twice with 'allo gorgeous' and calls me 'babe' etc on msn he also says bye and adds kisses, you know 'xxx'
- since its xmas and we are both busy we havent spoken alot this week.
does he like me or is he just one of those guys who calls all the girls babe and gorgeous. and im not sure about the 'xxx' either cos i know some guy friends who do that too.

Tough call... I can say that he's interested in you in some way - whether its as friends, or with intent for more... I don't know, and he might not know at this point.
That's he's added you on MSN (ick - use yahoo...) indicates he wants to remain in touch... unfortunately you're pretty much going to have to wait it out over the next few weeks and see how he acts towards you...
If he makes regular contact with you, then he at a minimum wants to be friends... and since he seems reasonably aggressive, I'd expect if he's interested he'll ask you out.

I think he likes you more then a friend, I mean he's been complimenting your looks and all and thats what us guys do, and plus the fact that he said that your "'Still sexy'" could mean that he like you from before but he never got the nerves to do anything try and reflect on the past.

A lot of guys call their friends babe and say things like i effin love ya!
males dont always mean it the way it is perceived. the guy most likely a loving guy and is just being nice.
the best way to know is to ask him for the truth. does he mean it in an intimate way between you 2? does he say that 2 every1? is he talkn to many girls/playing the field? most importantly, listen to your gut...

he probably like you as a good friend.. lots of guys call girls babe and sexy.. he wants you to feel special but if he really wanted a relationship you would know by now

I guess that you would have to get to know him a little better and be closer to him,,,like in an intimate way to know whether he means what he says or is just running his mouth. I don't tell a gal she is sexy and gorgeous unless I really like her....

It's difficult to separate the "line" from the genuine article. About the only thing we know at this point is that his approach is pretty immature and childish. If that's OK with you, it's OK with me and you can do a little more research.

I would say hang out with him sometime to find out. Or you can simply ask him on MSN. You have nothing to lose. Doesn't seem like a big lose if he was out of your life for 6 years as it is.

'cos it makes them feel good about themselves
when they get a response from girls that they can sense are interested in them. It's a game to some guys.
you can choose to be friends with him if you want, but keep your eyes open and be careful to guard your heart.

I still call most women I know, or meet Honey,Babe,Sexy, all kinds of "flirtting names" but also know that I'm very much in love with my girlfriend of 23 years!
Could be thats just the way he talks, but, I'm inclined to say "HE WANTS YOU" !!!
