I am 37 years young. I just got engaged to one who is 24 years. A difference of 13 years. I am confident that i shall truly love her. I hope the same from her. Age difference is not the criteria-Its only the mutual understanding, love and affection, Give & take, so on so forth. But i am not for a 23 year old guy marrying a baby of 13 years. Its too much.

Imagine a dad loving his 14 year old daugther, normal isnt, love is many understandings...
I really believe the 13 year old girl should learn and grow to be mature at least to have 19 years and then take her own decissions, if this 23 year old guy really loves her he will wait for her to be more mature and start a serious relationship, it is not just about physical maturity it is about emotional and spiritual evolution.
But it can be love at any age, it become illegal and sick if the adult does have sex with the underage or if the underage has sex with the adult. Both need to be adult to be legal and to be in equal circumstances.
I believe love can be find any age, any race, any culture, any way, it is a very private and personal feeling other´s shouldnt judge.

No, I do not think so. A 13 year old is still a child. A 23 year old is supposed to be a man. For God's sake, there's a huge difference even between 13 and 14 year olds -- grade 7s and grade 8s. Each progressing year in adolescence has a significant difference in maturity. If a senior in high school has nothing in common with a 13 year old, why would a 23 year old?

no no no no no...sorry for being repetitive but i am trying to stress the fact that i strongly feel that he can't. no matter how much physical or even seemingly affective attraction there may be, love, i don't think is possible. perhaps ten years doesn't seem like a lot when the ages are different, eg a 30 year old and a 40 year old, or 23 and 33, 27 and 37, etc...but even a thriteen year old and a sixteen year old is stretching it a bit, so i'd say the 23 year old in this situation is a bit desperate...no offence to the girl.

sure they'd have long relationships. many times, regardless of the indisputable fact that, they rush into issues and are not waiting to be committed to a minimum of one yet another, whether they think of they are mature. anybody is diverse. i think of that's a false impression human beings have approximately babies in basic terms when you consider which you would be a very diverse person from say 14 to once you're 19 while there has a tendency to be much less character differences in adults and that i assume human beings assume that as human beings replace they'll improve aside. which would be genuine each so often yet no longer others. It particularly does remember on the human beings.

Sure you can love anyone. But the right thing for him to do is allow her to grow up, because that would be real love, remember love isnt selfish! a 13 year old girl hasnt grown up yet, go out and live your life! Go to school, travel! There is plenty of time to fall in love!

No, unless you mean love of the physical sort, or unless the 23 y.o. is developmentaly disabled and has the mind of a 13 y.o. I'm sure there must be cases where I'm wrong, but a 23 y.o. going after a 13 y.o. probably hasn't had any luck with women of a legal age and younger women make him feel superior.
