I often get compliments on being pretty, smart, etc... and that I could easily get a guy if I wanted to.
The problem is guys tend to find me intimidating so they back away. I'm laid back, natural, and I never try to be anything I'm not. But how do I make myself seem more apprachable?

You may need to be the initiate. Just pay attention to who's looking but not approaching and try to make it easy for them.

Confident guys will approach you if they are interested. It sounds like that is the kind you want anyway. Do not be afraid to smile and say hi. Getting a dialogue started can do wonders for making a guy feel more comfortable around you, especially the ones who are a bit shy or intimidated. Believe it or not, some guys do like having girls as friends before becoming romantically involved with them. You also can get to know each other's interests beforehand. Just be open and smile. They will start approaching you.

Just smile!! =) I have the same problem sometimes. If I don't have a smile on...people think I'm miserable or just a bi+ch! I'm not though...I find that a smile certainly helps!! Or try making eye contact with people and smiling...that way you don't look like you're conceited!

Make eye contact and smile. Making eye contact is really the best way to show that you are approachable as eye contact is a small thing that you can do to show interest in others.

Just be friendly...talk to people about them, not you (I'm not saying you do this but it's something I try to do.). I find that most people LOVE to share their experiences and share themselves, so striking up conversations about someone's interests are the best way to show them that you wouldn't mind them comming to you about anything.

Wear tight jeans and an ACDC t-shirt thats black! Talk dirty to men and wear red lipstick! Have a hole in your jeans that reveals "some bum" and listen to "Ronnie James Dio" on your stereo.

baby girl, all you have to do is say "hi, how's going?" that's all it takes to say that you're friendly to talk to. it's a passive greeting and there is no hinted messages
