Like a child in love, I felt a tingling in my chest,
I felt like it feels when you feel your very best;

Nothing else matters much, I have what I miss most,
I stayed awake all night asking, is this real or its a ghost;

I let go of myself, feeling what its like to be on cloud nine,
All these tests I have been through, some hard some just fine;

Is this love, I asked my soul, or merely another hurt,
That just feels good at first, then suddenly feels like dirt;

I have been hurt before, so I build around a huge wall,
My love cried out for me, but I couldn't just hear his call;

I am not the one you knew, for I know you not too well,
My hopes flew high up once, then suddenly, gave up and fell;

I am not the one you had, I gasped and struggled to tell,
My spirits not free anymore, I crept back into my lonely shell;

One day perhaps to eagles, I will ask to take her my sweet talk,
Tell her this was from my heart and never did I ever mock;

Her heart I may never win, for the heavens may not even know,
That the one who spoke from the heart, was the one to leave and go.

Girls as we all know are sometimes hard to figure out. But what is it they actually go for? Are looks really important? Or could you date someone based just on personality?? I hang out with a mixture of people and I notice that my motocross friends, who are covered in tattoos and have the "badboy" image, tend to attract more attractive girls than my prep looking friends. Why is that? Someone explain all this to me!!

Me and my ex had been going out for 5 months and we got a baby on the way. I have tried being her friend but all she wants to do is plainly ignore me. She puts the blame of us breaking up on me. "You did this and you did that." What should I do? Remain her friend and let her do this or drop her completely and just deal with the baby part? I want the baby in my life but its getting to the point were i dont want anything to do with her,

My boyfriend is away for a while and I want to show him I miss him and am thinking of him. Obviously if it was the other way round then flowers and chocolates would be the easy solution, but what do girls send guys? I often go into the store, late at night, to pick up a few items or just browse around. Lately, I've been experiencing random women attempting to strike up conversations with me, or making a point of saying hello to me, or "coincidentally" crossing my path multiple times.

For example, I was in Walmart the other night, and this happened. This one woman crossed my path a few times before finally driving her cart towards me, looking me straight in the eyes, and saying "How are you doing toinght?" I said, "fine, thanks" and kept on walking the opposite direction. I didn't know what to think.

A similar thing happened around Halloween. I was in the Walmart, late at night, and a woman stopped me and tried to make conversation about a Halloween display.

Are these chicks trying to hit on me? If so, could I be anymore clueless?

Now, I am a very sexual person and lately my boyfriend has not wanted to have sex at all. So last night I told him if I don't get it then I'll buy a toy. and he got upset saying that I was being vendictive and couldn't believe that I would say something like that to hurt him. *sigh* I can understand it's partily because we recently just moved in with his parents for the next six months to save money.But it's a big house and we have our own room away from his parents (downstairs) and he doesn't even try when nobody's home!! Okay, i've been dating this guys for about a month now. The reason i met him in the first place was because my best friend really liked him and wanted me to talk to him for her. In the end he ended up asking me out and i said no since my friend liked him but she said to go out with him and i also really liked him (i love him to death). She told me that she was over him and that everything was okay, but now she is saying She still really likes him and would date him if we brake up. I also know that he used to like her and might still.I dont want to act like a jealous girlfriend or anything so should i just let this go or sit down and talk to them about it?? Also he has been calling one of my other friends and talking to her, which i dont mind, but i found out that he was flirting w/ her and said he loved her and stuff.He doesnt know that i know about that so should i Tell him i know or just get over it??

I was in a relationship for almost 4 years with the most wonderful man, I am 33. We have a 2 year old together. The problem is we broke up about 3 months ago. I still see him everyday, he is a wonderful dad and comes to see son. We have remained very good friends, but I still love him just as much as ever, and would like us to work it out. I don't feel like that will happen due to the reason we split up. (not abuse or cheating). He has begun talking to other women, but I can't seem to move on. I like this guy but havent got the nerves to ask him out im quite sensitive so would be quite upset if he said no. I am dating a guy and we seem 90% compatiable. I know that he smokes pot. I don't know how often, but he has told me that he does. I don't want to be with someone who does this because I think it is self-destructive and it is illegal. I feel like if I ask him about it he will not tell me the truth and will only hide it from me if we enter a serious relationship. I don't want to be demanding with him and tell him that it has to stop. I really like him but this pot habit of his seems to be the one bad thing about him that keeps popping up in my mind.
