Girls as we all know are sometimes hard to figure out. But what is it they actually go for? Are looks really important? Or could you date someone based just on personality?? I hang out with a mixture of people and I notice that my motocross friends, who are covered in tattoos and have the "badboy" image, tend to attract more attractive girls than my prep looking friends. Why is that? Someone explain all this to me!!

Depends on prefences. Girls are complicated, most are all about looks and only a handfull are about personalities.
The best way to avoid this is by making sure your intentions are clear to her since the moment you step in. If you do the friend thing then expect to end up as a friend. If you make your intentions clear, you may get turn dow right on the spot or she may fall head over heels for you.
No one understands girls. Its a proven fact. Welcome to real life

Some women are attracted to the bad boy types. I'm a female and badboy's are more risky to date and unpredictable. However preppy types are the safe date. I'm a female and I would prefer a guy with a mixture of both. A guy doesn't have to necessarily look like a badboy type in order to be one. You can still appear normal but be rough around the edges. Just be yourself.

Well, first of all, looks matter. we cant help it! However personality def matters too! U just gotta have the right balance. A great personality can make up for below average looks. While great looks and no personality wont last long, let me teeeeeell u!

Also, it depends what kind of guy the girls are attracted to. I, myself, could never date a preppy guy even thou i am pretty preppy myself. I need a real man. No flips flops for my guy, oh no no no.

but in the end, personality matters over all. And the type of personality that will allow ya to prosper depends greatly on the female. But if ur nice, fun, funny, and a bit spontaneous, any girl will luv ya 4eva!!

If you have to ask this question then girls do not want you. But they want what is taboo and bad because they have been living under an oppressive house and father, and been told to not go for this type of guy so of course they rebel and go for the "bad boy". After a while the girls realize that the guys to go for are the ones who make the most money. Just give it time, go to college, get a good degree, and get laid there at all the keg parties you might attend.

I am more attracted to that "bad boy" image. Not that I want some loser who gets himself into trouble and has no morals. I am just not attracted to preppy guys... to me it is too metro sexual. I have no problem with guys that wear polos and nice clothes, I am talking about the guys that shop at abercrombie and wear those pink shirts they sell for guys... it's soo girly! I like my man to be tough looking and masculine. And looks are not everything to me... I mean you cant be 500 lbs, but honestly if you're a nice person and treat people with respect then I see that person in a different way. It's weird. And the same thing goes for people who are ignorant and disrespectful.. I see them as ugly. Hope I helped!

To me, looks matter somewhat. I mean, I want to be attracted to the guy, ya know. I want to be able to kiss him and make love to him without wanting a bag over his head, or trying to imagine he was someone else until it was over. Personality don't cut it then. Then, I want a guy who is not lazy. I think lazy men are despicable. I want someone who is not cocky and only treats certain people right while the others get treated like crap. I want someone who would give the shirt off his back to help a friend in need. I want someone who is not a bully, but would protect me no matter what it took. And, I want someone who is clean and takes care of himself. I want someone who isn't wishy - washy, and changes everytime the wind blows. I want someone who can take a joke and dish em out, too. Someone who acn make me laugh. I want a man's man. Hunting, fishing, sports, isn't afraid to get dirty. One who keeps his hair short and doesn't wear jewelry. And, NO PINK, God help us all!! I could go on and on, but these are a few things that I think if all women are honest, would say the same thing.

Here it is Tom----?
#1 It's important that a man has a job.

#2 A man should be able to make you laugh.

#3 It's important to find a man you can count on & doesn't lie to you.

#4 A man should love you & spoil you.

#5 It's important that these four men don't know each other.

OK, THE REASON YOUR ASKING THIS QUESTION IS BECAUSE YOUR DEALING WITH "GIRLS". IF YOU WERE AROUND WOMEN AND LOOKING FOR A WOMAN, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO WONDER WHAT THEY WANT. TO SOME, LOOK'S ARE IMPORTANT AND THOSE WHO LIKE THE BADBOY IMAGE ARE THOSE WHO DON'T HAVE PROBLEMS GETTING A RESPECTABLE MAN UNLESS THE BADBOY ALREADY IS.

Okay looks DO NOT matter, anyone can lose their looks in a matter of seconds. If people ONLY go for looks they are selfish! People need to have a great personality at least for me to even consider them. and being sweet and humorous is a plus too!!

To me, looks are not that important (see my current bf. J/K!) Anyway, girls are attracted to the "bad boy" image because they think they can change them. Just be yourself, and you'll find the right girl. Promise!
