I'm a feminist and I'm not a man-hater. (I actually hate women more than I hate men, hahaha)
And I don't think I'm aggressive - just hardworking, determined and not one to put up with sexist sh*t or bullying just because I'm female. I had too much of that in previous employment...

Being a feminist does not mean being a man-hater. It just basically means that she wants to be treated like a man...AND be treated like a lady when it suits her. They are no more aggressive than a man. There's an old saying that in order for a woman to be considered equal to a man she has to work twice as hard and be twice as good/smart. Of course this is totally unfair but that's how the perception is.

I have had a couple of relationships with women who were avowed feminists. They are about give and take, just like any other relationship.
They didn't work out in the end, but feminism was not the cause. I don't see why equal rights, equal pay and equal say in the running of society, is such a threat that feminists get given such a bad name.
There are still markedly fewer women in high-profile jobs than men and women's pay still averages at 30% below the average of men's pay.
No-one here is talking about an antiquated stereotypical feminist rather actual human beings at all, are you?

Sounds like she has had some bad relationships in the past and is being over protective of herself and her feelings. You have to take it slow and be upfront with someone like this. She's probably not really a man hater, just very suspisious and careful. If she's worth it to you, you just have to show her that you are different. It will definitely be a challenge.

If she's as much of a feminist as I am, it really doesn't work out. We care too much about ourselves to care about you. It's best to become our FwB — some of us actually do like sex.
(If you ever have any other questions about feminists, come to me. I consider myself something of a YA authority on the subject.)

good luck with that relationship e.g.
"Honey, could you put the knives and forkes on the table?"
"Excuse me, do you think that women are just MADE for setting the table and cleaning up. I can't believe how sexist you are, and I can't take anymore of it! It's over, just go!!"
