I have been going out with my boyfriend for 3 weeks and I have yet to have a hug for him. He says that he likes me a lot, but i just don't believe it.

maybe he thinks that as the man in the relationship, he is not supposed to show emotions, and maybe he thinks that you dont want to have physical contact yet, why dont you hug him and hold on him, instead of waiting for him to do it.
i always liked the though of a girl taking charge and making the first move.

Three weeks is nothing. He's probably just shy. Give him some time. Maybe you could make the first move so he knows that you like to hug him or something.

Maybe he is too shy to actually make a move. Have you tried making the first move? Start by holding his hand....
If you are wanting more than he can give you, then it might be time to look else where... I wouldn't advice being in a relationship that you would lead to a lot of frustration.....

Why haven't you hugged him?
Some guys need some time (three weeks??) to get comfortable with affection, especially in public.

Is he shy? Maybe he likes you so much that he does not want to push it.
Or maybe he likes you a lot but does not know that he's not attracted to you..
Look, a lot may depend on your age. How old are you guys? Age may make a difference
