i left my husband of 12 yrs, just 9 weeks ago. i met this guy who ask me out and we have started dating frequently. i find that this person is absolutely fabulous and we have alot in common. he likes to watch old movies, and play scrabble, he likes to cook for me and reads books with me (even the bible) hes smart and he respects my intelligence also. hes not competative, although he likes a good debate, he is not a baby about it when he is wrong. the thing that makes me feel apprehensive is that my best friend of 30 years, thinks it is just a rebound relationship and she thinks i should date other men. i dont want to, i really like this guy and have found nothing to indicate there are any risks in dating him. i just wonder what others have experienced in relationships that seemed perfect from the begining, is it possible to fall in love so soon? please be honest with me, i want to move foward in this relationship with my mind at ease.

She's 34, has one child, and has been pretty depressed for a couple weeks. We talked Thursday and everything seemed fine, even though we didn't see each other over this weekend because she said she needed to spend time with her son. Usually she calls me after he's in bed, but she didn't call Friday night. Saturday I waited until about 9pm, called and text her wondering if she was alright. She text me back that she was ok. She never called later. Sunday I text her again, asked her to not stop talking to me. Called her at 10pm and she didn't answer. Text her this morning asking if she'd call me when she could, no reply as of yet.

We've been seeing each other for over 3 months, talked to each other every day, and now nothing. I feel like if I call or text her more then I may be annoying. But I also feel like if I don't, then she'll think I don't care. I thought we were in love with each other, but this doesn't bode well and is confusing.

What do you think I should do?

I really like this guy. He says he likes me. But, he has some feelings for another girl that he works with that won't give him the time of day. But, she likes to give him enough attention or flirtation to make him still want her. Is their anyway of maybe making him realize it and that she is no good? Is their anyway to win him over. ok, so i've been single all my life, and I recently started a new schooling program, I met this guy, and I know a lot about him, and i've checked him out, and he's legit. My b/f best friends mom died last week. She lived 300 miles away. My b/f & 4 of their other guy friends were going 2 go 2 the funeral 2day. I asked him if he wanted me 2 go & he said not if the other guys weren't going 2 take their wives. It was odd 2 me but I said ok. Then yesterday he got a call that 3 of the others weren't going & it was just 1 of them. My b/f never talked 2 his friend Joe (who is going) he talked 2 Jeff 1 of the guys who decided not 2 go. & Jeff was setting up the plan on when my b/f needed 2 meet Joe. He said cause he didn't have Joe's number. So my b/f left @ 4:30 this morning supposedly 2 meet Joe...I got a little suspicious so I tracked down Joe's home number & pretended 2 be a salesperson & asked 2 talk 2 him. He answered. Then I immediately called my b/f asking about the trip & how things were going & I asked him what Joe was doing & he said he was asleep, I said r u going 2 let him drive? He said yea later. Why is he lying? What should I do?

ok, i"m 17 yrs old me and my ex just broke up about a month ago. we were togther a year and 4 months .The reason we broke up because i needed my space and he wasn't respecting that, he wanted to be up under me 24-7,he was to contolling didn't want me to go places unless he was with me and was jealous of the relationship i had with my friends, saying that i treated them better.so i figured that it was unhealthy, so i broke up with him. The relationship we had was kinda strong because i was so use to him and he was use to me. he says he's gonna change, and wants us to work stuff out but i have developed feelings for this other boy, he is really sweet but like no one he isn't perfect he has his flaws. but i still have feelings for my ex, i don't want to break neither one of there hearts and i don't want to break mine by making the wrong decision. Any advice please. Sould i go back to my ex or move on a take a chance at something new.

I lied to my fiance .We've been through worse b4 though..We broke up back in june for a month and realized that it was a mistake cause we were still so much in-love. I lied to him about how i got my car. My parents paid for half, and when i couldn't get the other half financed myself, a "friend" offered to co-sign. No strings attached since i am making payments. I told my fiance that my parents paid for it all. Come to find out, this "friend" had alot more feelings for me than just friendship. When he realized that i didnt feel the same way he told my fiance about paying for half the car. (well, co-signing 4 it)..I know i should'nt have kept it from him, but i knew how'd he react. We've been together for almost 2 yrs. Is this something big enough for us to call it quits? I've tried talking to him, but right now he's so angry that he doesn't want 2 hear what i have to say. It also came out infront of some of his friends so i know he's also embarrased. What can i do to save our relatshp?

I try everything to make him happy, I cook, clean,laundry give him my last I'll do anything but It always seems like I'm bothering him, he screams and yells for nothing. Say if I ask what do you want for dinner he will say what the f*** you can't just make something and he can't hold me because I'm the female only I should show affection. I'm so confused I can't even explain it properly. He calls me a retard when were driving or I park to far away from the door, I have no common sense just everything is wrong and my fault. I love him so much what should I do to help our relationship or him????????????????

I live an hour and a half from a woman who is 23 and has a 2 year old son. Every saturday I drive to visit her starting two weeks ago, and she just gave me an invitation to come down every saturday to hang out and drink with her yesterday. She used to be my boss, and I know she had a crush on me at one time. Every time I visit her we have sex. And last time I was there I told her that I thought we should date. She avoided the question so I dropped the subject. But she did go outside and talk with her roommate imediately after I asked her that. I feel like I'm getting mixed signals. I really like her and her kid. I don't kiss her in front of her roommate because I think it will embarrass her; but next time I am down there I am thinking about giving her a red rose right when I get in the door and kiss her. Does this sound like a good idea? Any other good ideas to get her to date me? Thanks!

I just met this girl a few months ago on cross country team. I have always thought she was gorgeous just seeing her around school so I was kind of excited to actually get to talk to her. Anyway...we talk just about every day now online and at practice...school..etc. But it's nothing big really...we just kinda have small talk. I have devloped a pretty big crush on her...she doesn't have a boyfriend and it doesn't seem like she really has any other guys she's interested. However I have no idea if she feels any affection towards me at all, so I don't want to straight up tell her I like her and have her freaked out.

Me and her have been dating secretly ever since she broke up with her ex. Everyone can see she is unbelievably obsessive. I don't want to hurt her too much considering everything that has happened. I do want her to be happy but she does so many things that are wrong and upset me. I used to be in love with her but after I realized that nothing good has come of this relationship, I just felt bad about it all. I need to find a way to break up with her without totally crushing her.

I have a friend who recently met a guy at a dance event a couple months ago. They hit it off and since then have spent some quality time together. She went out of state and spent a weekend w/ him and his family and he's been in town a couple of times and stayed at her apartment. She hasn't had sex with him, (though he's tried several times), but they have been very close and intimate.
Granted, she doesn't see a future with him they do enjoy eachothers company and they do share common interests.
Anyway, he came into town this past weekend for another dance event and insisted that she be there for the show.
When she got there, she noticed he was w/ another girl. It was evident in the physical contact and gestures between the two that she was not just a friend.
They greeted eachother and that was pretty much it.
Now, she's angry. Should she say something to him or not? And if so, what?

receiving an email from someone I dated once. The email just said 'found your email, thought I'd say hello and see how you were doing' I wrote back and said 'thanks for emailing, hope all is well'. My b/f asked me to fwd it to him and I did. He's fine with it now so he says and thanked me for being honest.....Should I have not even said anything? It's not like it's a big deal (the email) but I don't want to keep anything from him and won't he respect my honesty in the long run?
