I live an hour and a half from a woman who is 23 and has a 2 year old son. Every saturday I drive to visit her starting two weeks ago, and she just gave me an invitation to come down every saturday to hang out and drink with her yesterday. She used to be my boss, and I know she had a crush on me at one time. Every time I visit her we have sex. And last time I was there I told her that I thought we should date. She avoided the question so I dropped the subject. But she did go outside and talk with her roommate imediately after I asked her that. I feel like I'm getting mixed signals. I really like her and her kid. I don't kiss her in front of her roommate because I think it will embarrass her; but next time I am down there I am thinking about giving her a red rose right when I get in the door and kiss her. Does this sound like a good idea? Any other good ideas to get her to date me? Thanks!

Bring her the flower & tell her how much you really care for her ... she might just be holding back because she's not sure what you think about dating a single mom ... I use to feel that most guys wouldn't think twice about dating me so I would usually just find a few "friends with benefits" ... if you express your feelings towards her and let her know how much you want to be there for her and her child then you might get some clear answers ... telling her " we should date " isn't enough to make me go out with you ... you really have to show her you want to be with her and her child ... good luck .. !

at first reading it sounds like she is playing with you. but knowing she has a young child, i don't think thats the case. she is probably very weary of letting you get to close or letting you expect too much, for the sake of her child. as a parent she has to consider her child first and foremost. be patient and let HER move the relationship along at her pace, and it will probably pay off big for you int he end.
