Singles & Dating - 30 October 2006

I have lived with my girlfriend for 18 months now she has a little girl of six who goes with her father friday till 5.30pm on saturday. Each saturday at around 12 oclock my girl starts to text her ex asking what time she will pick up the little girl and this continues through the day text back and forth. He also gives her money but always meets during the week to give it her instead of sat when she is picked up.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me, I do have my own theory and have spoke to her about it all just want to get unbiased views.

My friend has an eight year old son and is very attractive, she stays at the boys fathers house at holiday time and he visits her house and stays some weekend she asked me why i think she has not had a relationship in the 7 years she has been split from the boys father.
Is it because she cant let go of her past ?
the relationships she has had have only lasted a few weeks and when she goes for a man then it always seems she goes for the impossible guy who will not commit is she doing this sub conciously

I am very confident in every other manner, I even do a little modeling but when it comes to sex I almost completely shut down. I've had plenty of experience (not that I sleep around or anything); really good and really bad. I know what I like in bed but I'm clueless as to how to please my guy. I can get myself off being on top but can't get my partner off. I guess I don't know how to move my body; up and down or back and forth??? Do I just move my pelvic region and if so how??? How do I keep the rhythm going??? What are other ways I can be more dominating during foreplay and sex (I don't mean dominatrix; but where I can be more giving)??? i recently asked a guy out, via a note i left on his windscreen, he just text me to say he wasnt very good at dating/relationships and that it wasnt me, but that he was stuck in his ways and that he was a grumpy git....

so should i persue and try to convince him that its worth a go? just for a meal or a drink? i like him, although i dont know him very well and i am more experienced than him in the dating game....

any advice from guys or gals would be gratefully received....

PS: his dad thinks it would be a good idea to go on a date with me, not that that helps me at all, but its always nice to have the in-laws on side!

I have been with this chef for nearly a year. He was promoted and so no longer had time for me. We recently broke up with him citing 'no time for me'.
