The mother of my child is trying to keep me from my daughter's life, any way she can. I do have joint custody but she has charged me with 1) flagrant non support (I do have arrearages but I have an agreement to pay through the state), 2) she put out a temporary EPO so I couldn't see my daughter this past weekend, which got dismissed this morning for lack of 'threatening' evidence, 3) she has repeatedly taken me back to court to try to revoke my rights as a parent (all of which were dismissed), 4) she has called me, harrassing me and threatening me that once my daughter is old enough, she is going to legally disown me, 5) she has assaulted my wife (back in Oct. 06) but we didn't press charges because my daughter was there screaming and crying for her mom 'not to go to jail.' My question is, don't I have some rights here? What can I do???? Please help. I know she won't stop this craziness, if anything, things will only get worse (further false allegations like molestation, abuse, etc.)

Every since he asked me to marry him things have went down hill! We fight like everyday and he is overly jelaous of everyone that i talk to! The other thing is that I am pregnant. I love him but sometimes I wonder if I should just leave him! I'm stuck and don't know what to do please help!!!

I'm 25, soon to be 26 and do not want children. My partner, who just turned 30, and future husband have both talked about this issue and we neither one of us want children. I'm wondering why it is that most people keep telling us we will change our minds? Or my favorite one "the marriage will fail without them, cuz you will be facing only eachother day after day"....So give me your opinions.....why is it so unheard of to not want children? And please give me a better reason than the age issue that one is getting quite tedious I could understand if I were 20, and though I'm not THAT old I certainly know at this time in my life more of what I want and what I DON'T want....thanks for taking the time to answer

I originally had it in French (Sébastien) once and after I originally changed my middle name, (having liked the spelling compared to the English variant) then 19 to 20 months later I began to think about having overlooked, not thought about the pronounciation in French (say-bas-TYAWN) changed it to English variant within a few weeks later, but now close to 4 years after having done that, I'm not sure I like the name Sebastian any more (spelling/pronounciation) and am considering changing my middle name/s for a 3rd time in 6 years, which if I went ahead with it would mean I would have 4 different full names in my 24 - 25 years so far (First name and last/surname have always been the same.) I don't know if I want to take back my original middle name James (late Grandfathers name, which 3 of my cousins have as being eldest of their own families) or go with a new middle (2nd given name) such as Jeremy, Raphael (Rafael - Italian spelling) or Ainslee. Andrew is my first name and too common.

What would you do? I just found out that my ex-brother in law is abusing cocaine again. He is in his 40's, a very hard worker, but he is just a terrible father in a lot of ways, he is not home alot, the boys are left to take care of each other since they were very young. He loves his boys so much, but he just isn't the greatest at buying food or clothes for them poor boys. He tries to raise them right, I know he does. These boys have been through so much, their mother ( my sister) abandoned them so many times, and she is un-fit to parent right now. Now all they have literally is their father, I am their aunt, but live 35 miles away. My mom cleans their house weekly, and she found little empty bags of cocaine today, he said he had quit, but I guess not. He got a drug charge at Christmas and was arrested. I like him a lot, I want to help him. What should I do? Are the kids going to be okay if they stay in that house? There is almost never any food in the house. The boys are 10 and 11 yr

My friend thinks, that a girl becomes a woman when she looses her virginity, actually 3 other friends of mine think the same thing. It's wrong, right? Cause for example if a 60-year old female is still a virgin, do you call her "girl"?! Well, that's what they think. My oppinion, is that a girl becomes a woman when she gets her first period(she's able to have babies) and becomes responsible for her actions. Is me or my friend right?? We're both 15. I think she has a primitive point of view.

To have a male roommate? I just filed for divorce with my husband because of some abuse issues. I am getting my own apartment, and I am in the Navy and one of my friends is going to move in and help out, well he's a male. Is this acceptable? We are both in the Navy, I'm at a shore command because I am pregnant and he's on a sea command. He will be making a lot of small trips out to see before his 6 month deployment. But, he is just going to be around to help with the rent and utility payments. So is it acceptable?

i was thinking it would be kinda funny if i were to play a prank on my wife for our anniversery, she usually has a midnight walk, so i was thinking i could rape her and i would record it and show it to her later and we could laugh about it, i mean we've been married for a long time, or should i just pretend to be abusive, u know come home from work drunk one night and beat her? which prank should i preform, our marrige is solid, so she wont divorce me... i wont let her divorce me..... because if she does.... well that would make me angry....

When you notice new employees at work, new neighbors, or just strangers such as postal man, etc, does it make you happy to greet the person, and provide a welcoming gift or thank you card, but at the same time you hope that person doesn't take that as an invitation to visit often or invade too much of your space? Is that wrong?

I LOVE giving and seeing a smile on the face of others, but I truly value my privacy, so I prefer to give quietly expecting nothing in return, and DO NOT like when a fuss is made after I've done something nice. A few times I've intentionally not done anything to avoid the extra attention, and that doesn't leave me with a good feeling.

Is there anyway to give, while gently expressing you would prefer nothing more without seeming aloof, or do you feel this is unfair or hypocritical of me? Looking for honest answers, even if it's not what I want to hear.

I recently moved to the Big Apple after college. I 've been staying w family (My sis & her bf) since Jan. I got a job and have been saving to move out. Well, just last week, I get an ultimatum. I have til April 1 to find a place, mind you its already March 13th. or I go bac hme. I have been very respectful of their space and cook for them etc. My work schedule is such that I don't see them in the morning and I get home late, so its not like i am invading their space. My point is that I think that they are setting me up to fail because it is so difficult to find a place to live in this city. I've started looking for places but since it is my first place I am a little unsure about what to look for. I really miss home (another state) and am afraid that if I go back I will be scrutinized by everyone for being a "baby". I am really confused. I have this amazing job and don't want to leave it.
