we have been dating for 4yrs and i have become good friends with his family.i hear stories about how great he was with his old gfs(sending flowers at work,boxes for cards,love letters,little romantic gifts ect)in the 4 yrs we have been dating i got flowers once(with me hinting alot) and one card for my b-day with just his name signed.why is this?i don't expect expensive gifts just something to let me know hes thinking about me when i'm not with him.i do it to him all the time.i know some guys just don't do stuff like that but he allways did for his other gfs so whay not me?

I am at my Motherš house and she is playing a tape my step-father made for her and it still makes me cry - seven years on. She knows it makes me cry but I do not like to cry in front of her as it sets her off too.

He died in the same ward as I had been on just 2 days before and I had fought tooth and nail to be allowed out and I did not know he was in - until someone came from my church and told me he had died. He had cuddled me just a week before while I was in the hospital.

My real father was (still is) an abosolute pig, and I hate him. I liked, then came to love my step-father because I could talk to him about anything! We went through a lot together. He was not perfect, I realise that, but who is. We even had the same illness, I lived, he died.

Trouble is, I cannot stop crying when I think about him, and hear his voice on tape - like now. What can I do?

I mean another human being - a friend or relative. Do you believe it is possible to trust someone completely (or more than yourself) if you do not completely trust yourself? How, or why or why not?

well i liked this guy and for a minute he likes me. we talked on the phone we hung out in school. and then i made a new friend and things between me and him kinda like went down the drain. i mean now they talk on the phone now and then. now they hug each other in the hall. now they look at each other from across the room and smile at each other. maybe it is not just him. maybe she is leading him on? and the big thing she has a boyfriend!!!!!!!!!!! when they talk on the phone they don't talk as friends they get to know each other and everything. they have a class together and they flirt and everything. she doesn't want nobody to know she has a boyfriend. she only tries to be with her boyfriend on the down low. i mean it makes me wonder what did i do to makw him get over me? he doesn't talk to me when he does it is just a "hi" and that is all. i mean i was nice and im a very attractive young lady. But the quesion is where did i go wrong?.........................................

we love each other so much and we have a long distence relationship so we only get to see each other once a year. we have been together for almost 5 years. well he wants to go on this band thing to california. and i really dont want him to go because i wount even be able to talk to him. he asked me the other night if i wanted him to go and i said no. he said ok that he wount. but i know he does because last night he told me he would reather go to band thing then spend time with me this summer. i dont know what to do i love him so much and i put him ahead of everything in my life. he still says that if i say no he wount go but i know he wants to go. dont know what to do plz help!!!!

I recently went on a ski trip with my girlfriend. While we were there I saw some alarming text messages of hers that has me thinking she is cheating. 1st, there was about 50 from the same guy no dates so I don't know how far back this goes. 2nd, some of the messages had a sexual connotation. Her replies to them were few but favoring. While we were up there she sent a message to the other chap that said "cold up here, come keep me warm" When I confronted her she said she understood why I would get upset but its not what it looks like. She claims the messages make her laugh cause she knows who their coming from. We had a calm talk about the whole thing I stayed cool and we went snowboarding the next day. Anyway, my instincts tell me she could be lying so I didn't call for over a week. She called me a couple times and I got back to her later same day. I went to see her and she was mad I didn't call. She acted like we are still 2gether. But now we have stopped talking WHAT IS GOING ON???

they have been divorced for 6 yrs but still my bf of 5yrs allows his exwife to controll him.now he LEFT her for an old gf(not me) maybe its guilt?he said no she (his ex)drove him to cheat because she was so controlling.she would take him back in a heart beat so he does not regret his decision.when i asked him why he says hes doing it for his childs sake which maybe so as he does love his child dearly but i feel theres more to it than that.can anyone tell me why my bf would be so nice,accommodating,helpful to her when she was so nasty to him when they were married and now treats me like a doormat?and no hes not doing her on the side i know this for sure.

well im not trying to be inappropriate but i dont know what to do. my boyfriend who i am head over heels in love with is always asking about my past. the first time we "were together", i said that the guy before him had a bigger "wang" because my bofriend has a huge "wang" and i didnt want him to think that i couldnt handle it. well every guy i have been with ( not that many) , they have all had a smaller one. even the guy i told him that was bigger. i told him that why i told him ....but he is obsessed with it and wants me to show him excactly how big they all were. its crazy. he ownt beleive me and this was almost a year ago. so what do i do? the only guy that was close to his size is the one i said was bigger in the beggining but still the last guy was even 2 inches smaller than my boyfriend. but its such a big deal to him. so he's called chris and he's 17 and i'm 16.

but i really really really like him he's sweet, kind, funny, smart, he's so awesome! then last night me and my friends and his friends all camped out (insane i know...) but it was fun and we got talking and he told me he liked me and asked me out.....

he's a really nice person most of the time but sometimes he's very critical of people, sarcastic and various other things. so a lot of the time he's not very nice but i know he doesn't mean to and when he realises he's doing it he stoppes and says sorry but it's really hurtful to people...it's not like he's a nasty person, the situation is just very hard to explain. can i stop this? i really don't like it.....ohhh i'm confused. what should i do?

How do i convince my mother to find her a new man? She loves the man she is with, with all her heart and they have been together for a while but he just doesn't treat her the way a woman should be treated. He isn't abusive, he just doesn't give her the attention and affection and consideration that she deserves.

I see her cry everytime there is a special occasion and he gets her nothing or gets her something stupid even after she tells him what she would like or hints to what she wants. They never do anything together. They hardley ever are intimate and I know my mother has a very passionate desire in her.

I have tried to talk to her but it goes in one ear and out the other. My mother is not just my mother but my best friend as well and my heart aches for her and I get so upset when she crys about something he did or didn't do. She does everything for him and gets nothing in return but he says he loves her. She doesn't need this kind of love! How can I help my mother?

My girlfriend & I had a discussion last night about her male friend who said something 2 her over her cell phone that I overheard because her cell phone is so loud. They smoke, I don't, she asked if she could go over 2 his place 2 get happy, he said why don't U come over here & make me happy. I told her that didn't make me feel good after she was gone for 25 minutes. After our hashing out of the situation, she threw away her thong, said it was holey. I looked @ it later, & they were completely fine. Y would a woman do that? Y would a woman throw away perfectly good underwear? could it be because I had questioned her fedility? She became so upset after my concerns, that she threw her thong away because they would remind her of my jealousy? What do you think? I have yet 2 address this issue with her, but when I do, how would B a good way 2 do it?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 1/2 years. We met online, he's from Seattle, me Milwaukee. It was great at first. Real and it felt honest. A year ago, it died. No sex, all the physicalness on his side stopped. He said it was him. I accepted that answer. Well, it's still stopped. No sex, little kisses good morning but the worst part is Myspace and emails. He keeps everything a secret. He's missed at least a day week from work for the past month. He says he's fixing or doing something at home (and he is home all day) but sits on the computer all day. He has 25 girls in his IM yahoo and now is chatting on Myspace. He says they are friends, but honestly they get more conversation and time with him then I do. He sleeps alot, takes a nap everyday at 4PM I get home at 5PM and make dinner, he sleeps. He says he's tired all the time and makes excuses not to have sex with me. I am very worried. HELP
