I am currently separated from my husband. We have a daughter 6 and a son 4. The kids ad I are living with my mom in a more urban area where the schools aren't as good as the ones we moved from(in the subarbs). My husband is out in the burbs still where the better schools are. I have to make up my mind if I want to drive across town everyday for a better school or drive a few blocks to this one. The school by my mom is not horrible just a different atmosphere. My daughter is being teased and threatened by some kids. I also have an ulterior motive. If they're over there, I can be closer to my husband as I am hoping for a reconciliation.

Tomorrow night is our "date" night. We take every Wednesday off for each other. He is going shark fishing until about 7:30pm. I was going to be domestic and cook something. A good friend just called to see if I could meet her and some others for drinks for her birthday tomorrow night. I don't know why I'm so wishy-washy on this. My man won't care which I choose, he'll be tired from fishing and pass out right after dinner. I really don't want to hurt my friend's feelings but I'd rather just crash on the couch after dinner, too. Please help me decide.....

My girlfriend started her day at 5:30 and will end it at midnight, what would want after a really long day. I mean besides a bed is there any small comfort that can help take a load off.

I would prefer non-food/drink items but if there is a compellign reason for that particular thing, I'm open to hearing why/how.

Thanks.

Ok i live with my dad and my step mom, we get along good and every thing but we recently moved away from my home town wich was really crushing for me! I am really trying to get along well and adapt to my new high school and peers but they really dont seem like they are adapting to me being here, somedays i feel completely invisible during school. It has been seven months sense we moved and i still havent found a friend that i can trust or that wants to hang out at all. My real mom lives back in my home town along with my old best friends that i talk to regularly, they all really want me to come back home and i am wondering if it would be better for me there or to stay here and be depressed any longer.

Hi
I am a married male but my spouse is not interested in sexual activities unlike me,I dont want to be unfaithful to her.
Could you suggest some medicines which i can give her so that our married life can be saved.
Its very embrassing for me to goto counselling or such things. Please suggest some locally available medicines which i can give her through some drinks or something without her knowing so that after a while she will get used to it and even without medicines we can enjoy a healthy sex life

I've always had a problem with intimacy, wether it be with friendships, people I don't like trying to have romantic relationships, even with relative relationships. I just feel like the whole intimacy thing can only exist between me and someone I'm inlove with, and anything outside of that is just.. well, it gives me a weird uncomfortable and awkward feeling.

For example, a friend I haven't talked to in awhile (and we're not even that close anymore) told me that she's "nothing without me", don't get me wrong, she's still a friend, but that creeped me out. The same things happened with me when people tried to have romantic relationships with me, and if I don't feel the same way or if I'm not attracted to them, I immediately get uncomfortable, embarassed and awkward, which will manifest into anger and shutting them out of my life completely. I get pretty apathetic when it comes to those things, but for those I don't want to hurt, what should I do? I can't help but feel gross.

I'm a 24 year old male college guy. During the dinner party at a cousins wedding, my table (of young college aged strangers) started talking about relationships they had in the past - boyfriends/girlfriends, sex, ect. They mentioned the worst and best relationships theyve have ever had.

The ball came to me and I told the people at my table, who were a little tipsy, that I never ever dated, never had a girlfriend, or ever had sex. Subsequently, the table became very quiet. Afterwards, they talked amongst themselves and no one else talked to me the rest of the night. They were giving me weird looks, rolling their eyes the rest of the night. I think that the people were embarrassed to associate with me.

It's not my fault that I grew up to only 5'5". Its not my fault that girls subconsciously see me as a "cripple" due to my height. I tried talking with girls in the past but its no use. I trying to learn to accept to being a virgin and single for life.

Are there many like me?

I took my daughter with me away from south to north cali because I can't handle how tight the life with my husband's family, my parents in law are so controlling and his sis involve our privacy. I asked him to move out 5 mins. away and he said no. My family needs help from me. He's neglecting me when I try to have a conversation and also our marriage life, didn't let me hold him, didn't touch or kiss me for a month. WHen he needs it, just tell me to do wat he wants and that's it, don't touch me at all. He called me and begging us to go back, he really miss his daughter and sorry, he'll try his best to make me happy. He said just come back and in a few months he'll ask his parents to move.He promised to move to the city which is 1 hr away as I asked him, of course he'll take his family. I told him at least i can go to my family when I'm not happy if only 1 hr away. I have no friend in LA and six hrs away how can I take my 4 month old alone with no car? Can i trust him? thanx

Any advice on how to cope with being a very devoted stepmom in a situation where the "real" mother is very neglectful & emotionally abusive? It's tough being stuck in the middle, with no legal rights. My husband and I have filed for custody, but the process is very slow and discouraging. I love my stepchild more than life itself and this process has taken a lot out of me... well, all of us. Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated!

(women)

how many women allow their man to look at/watch p o r n? how many find it disgusting? disrespectful and degrading to the women?? does anyone support it?

(men)

what makes you want to look at/watch p o r n? how many of you support it, do it, and why?? how many of you don't support, don't do it, and why? do you think females have a reason to find it disgusting, degrading, and disrespectful?

just curious because my fiance told me it was normal but I think it's disrespectful. It make me feel like he would rather have one of them satisfy him than me. anyone else out there feel the same?

tried to add people to your friends list and they did not accept?

I hate feeling rejection. I did get along with these people, I've talked with them several times, so why would someone not want to be on my list?

This makes me question what people think of me? Do people just pretend all the time? Should I not trust friendly faces?

I try not to reach out and be friends with people because of fear of rejection, but when I do, I get my feelings hurt...

I've worked 5 years with this woman. She's the kind of person who is in a bad situation because of things she does to her self (such as saying she's poor but eating out every night, going out every weekend, and buying expensive jewelry).

Her husband can drop her off at work but not pick her up, so she need a ride home. I've been taking her home for years even though it's on the other side of town and not convenient for me. Never once has she said thanks or offered me any money.
Recently she said she had some food she bought with food stamps that was not being used (she's too good to eat beans and rice) so I said I'd take it if she didn't want it. She told me that the only way I'd get it is if I'd take her home for a whole week!

What's a nice way to tell her I don't want to take her home anymore? I know what will happen: she'll cry and tell a long story about her having to walk home, so how do I keep from caving in? Is it worth telling her off? I'd appreciate any advice.

Which tends to be harder? Being in a fully committed relationship (say, perhaps engaged or married) but you end up having to spend 2-3 years apart, or making a sacrifice and not starting a committed relationship because of the 2-3 years that you'd have to be apart?
