I am currently separated from my husband. We have a daughter 6 and a son 4. The kids ad I are living with my mom in a more urban area where the schools aren't as good as the ones we moved from(in the subarbs). My husband is out in the burbs still where the better schools are. I have to make up my mind if I want to drive across town everyday for a better school or drive a few blocks to this one. The school by my mom is not horrible just a different atmosphere. My daughter is being teased and threatened by some kids. I also have an ulterior motive. If they're over there, I can be closer to my husband as I am hoping for a reconciliation.

Good LORD! Are you crazy? Of Course you should drive the kids to a better school! Your convenience is more important to you than your own childrens safety and education? You sound like a child yourself. GROW UP!

I was in the same situation a few years ago with my 9 year old daughter.......I drove 48 miles a day so that she could attend a better school. In the meantime, if you can afford it, look for a place to live near the school. I drove my child for 2 years until I found an apartment. It is amazing how showing independence and moving on with your life will affect your husband. And in the meantime, your child is in the best place for her too!

If you feel uncomfortable about the closer school, then yes, by all means drive to the better one across town.
But don't let that decision hinge on getting back with your husband.

You should do whatever you can in order to provide your children with a good education and a safe learning environment. Imagine how horrible you are going to feel if someone physically hurts your daughter and you could have done something to prevent it.

spend more suitable time worryin about your children than your husband.. if theres a more suitable robust preparation for the youngsters there and u can force them there with out issues then force them there....... re the hubby if u want him lower back then get him lower back yet dont use the youngsters as a pawn to attend to to work out him..... youthful ones see this stuff and capture on quick... no longer being somewhat*h yet im advantageous that you'll be able to keep in mind that.. because it does look like you want a good preparation for the youngsters.... purely dont do it at their cost..... take em to college then artwork the hubby lol

In my opinion, you should do whatever is best for your children, if the schooling is better, and your daughter does not get teased, then it is worth the drive time.
