I love my boyfriend dearly. He is both my best friend and best boyfriend ever. The only problem I have with him is that he refuses to go to the doctor for a check up. He is 24 and the only time he has been to the doctor since he turned 18 is four years ago as part of a pre-employment physical. We are planning to get married but I am not sure I can spend the rest of my life with someone who wont even go for a check up. I mean how do I even know if it is ok for us to even have kids together. All I want him to do is go for a physical. Am I asking too much. He keeps saying that he will go when he is ready but has been telling me that for over 2 years.

PS I have given everything for this relationship, next January he is relocationg from the east coast to the west coast and I am leaving my job to relocate with him.

since i was a little girl, all i've wanted is to be a princess.
and untill know i still want that...i want to be a respected figure in society someday(i'm still studying),and be married to a prince or a diplomat or something like that...i want to be the modern princess, to be all stylish and modest,smart and still humble,sweet yet strong willed...and still have a life as a princess...i want a fairy tale in my life, a modern one.


is it still normal or am i getting a little too over of myself with this "dream"?

The US has a reputation overseas of not knowing much about other cultures and countries and being a bit of a bully. I am still not sure if toppling Saddam was good foreign policy as there are other threats and dictators out there who are just as dangerous. Totally confused by the whole issue. Just hoping that the world gets more leaders who speak peace talk like Mandela and Kofi Annan. An inspirational pacifist would be a nice change

He moved far to be with me Ive known him since i was in highschool. We are both 24 now. 2 weeks ago i had a friend here and she found a note in her smoke pack that said " hey wanna play" with a little heart beside it. Im confromted my fiance and he said it was written for our two year old daughter. A week later he has a regualr routine and came home 2 hours later and said he did the exact same thing he normally does, but it usually only takes 15 mins not 2 hours. 2 days after that I came down stiars and he was outside in the freezing cold on the phone, as soon as he saw me he hung up and lied and told me it was my brother but when i pressed redial it was a long distance number. Now as it sits hes taken off 5 hours away to visit his parents he hitch hiked there and decided with in two hours thats what he was going to do and left. He acts like im his worst enemy on the phone. R theese signs of cheating? Hes a perfect man otherwise, i mean perfect loving great father and i love :(

this guy has kept in contact with me now for over a year. i met him through my ex.

whenever he is out in town, he texts me to see if im out too to meet up. we live in different cities. This happened when i was with my ex too.

we have met up a few times and have only kissed, despite him wanting more!

after we have met up i dont hear from him for a while and he ignores my messages. i then dont contact him anymore. but, after a while, he comes back texting me again just like before and the whole thing starts again!!

i have been abit of a tease by staying over his place.

i really like this guy but i dunno whats going on.
he knows i ended my 6 year relationship with my fiance 8 months ago who i had my own place with. he knows my ex has moved away. he did know of my ex but they were not friends.

i have heard that this guy likes the chase.

hes 29 and single.
when we are together we get on great and he always compliments me etc etc..

my ex and i have been broken up for 10 months recently he has been calling me everyday at work sometimes 2 times a day and then i asked him if he wanted to go to the movies and then he kept making excuses. i told him i dont have time for a phone relationship and i havent heard from him for a week. he left me and i still love him. why is he calling all the time then? why is he doing this? he is getting jelous and asking where i have been who im with and what i have been doing. what is with this?? should i send him an sms and tell him i miss him?

I have to set you up on how it all went down for you to feel how pissed and confused I am. The week before my b-day I made sure to ask him if he had any plans (I didn't want to assume) and he said "yeah I want to spend the whole day with you and celebrate!" So I made sure to clear my entire day and even deferred on requests to hang out with my homegirls out of town ( I had a pre-birthday weekend out with my friends to accomodate HIM and his so- called plans). As my 25th b-day approached he even called wanting to confirm our plans and then that day came. I waiting all day for him to call & wish me a happy b-day but nothing. Finally around 4pm I decided to call him (on MY birthday) to see what was up and I got his voicemail-repeatedly. Around 8pm I decided to drown my pain in a store bought cake...alone. 3 months later I've yet to hear from him- just like that. I've prayed on it, cried over it, and lost a lot of zzz's on this mess. I'm over him but that feeling of betrayal is lingering.

I am 25yrs old Female from Chennai, India. My parents decided to seek alliance for me, started getting more proposals too. But I am in love with a guy who is entirely different from my caste and culture, he is from Kerala. I then told my parents bout my love, in this case my mom accepted, but my dad dint. now he is giving me more tortures to get rid of that guy. me explained alot about my willingness but still he is not ready to hear my words. in home, he is ill-treating me alot. at the same time, I cant leave my parents and go get married juz like that, coz only I've to look after them. I am havig only one elder brother who is in Staffordshire, UK. I told him all abt my problems, he told that he'll be coming to India by the month of May. i broke up w/ mah ex about 3 yrs ago and we r friends since then. we had been goin out for like 3 months and she had to move far away w/ her parents. i kept the long distance relationship for another 4 months.i broke w/ her cuz we started to have more fights and got even worse cuz of long distance.there are other reasons why i broke up but i always luv her until now. i talk to her on the phone once in a while. i am confused cuz even though
i luv her so much, i dont wanna be w/ her cuz i dont see her as mah ideal future wife. i dont know if i could find somebody whom i could luv so much but i cant be w/ her cuz i would always be unhappy thinkin that this is not exactly wat i wanted in mah wife. i luv everything about her but stil dont see the perfect compatibility between us. i am 23 and will get married after 5 yrs or so. should i be w/ her and see how things work or let it go the way its been goin?
