Ok i live with my dad and my step mom, we get along good and every thing but we recently moved away from my home town wich was really crushing for me! I am really trying to get along well and adapt to my new high school and peers but they really dont seem like they are adapting to me being here, somedays i feel completely invisible during school. It has been seven months sense we moved and i still havent found a friend that i can trust or that wants to hang out at all. My real mom lives back in my home town along with my old best friends that i talk to regularly, they all really want me to come back home and i am wondering if it would be better for me there or to stay here and be depressed any longer.

Oh that's a tough one sweety. I suppose it depends on what you think high school is for. If you believe it is an aspect of socializing and such then perhaps a move back with your mother would be good. Just remember that things have changed in your hometown while you were gone. I moved to my Dad and felt like you and moved back home only to find out that all my girlfriends felt abandoned by my initial moving and things weren't like I thought they would be. If you are the type that sees high school as a stepping stone and you are more academic, I would stick it out until graduation, knowing most the time, the people you were friends with in high school usually grow distant and move away, pursuing their own lives and you make alot of friends after high school when and if you go off to college or start a carreer. Good luck and God bless.

I can understand how you feel; but, what are you worried about? making friends or doing well in school? making Friends will not get you the education or in the profession you want let alone college. You should concentrate on yourself and not how others feel about you. What a waste of time that is. Depression? let it ride for a couple more months with your concentration on school and not others. As soon as you do and those who are concerned with well rounded individuals will notice you and beg to be your friend. Generally speaking; you will never be hurt by friends of intelligence whereas those who lack responsibilities will befriend you for something you have and not who you are. Relax; talk with your parents and let them know what your feeling, I promise they will be there to help you.

If you want to get involved in a new social life join some extra activities at school what better way to meet people. Don't be afraid of change. But if you are truly unhappy after that dont go on depressed. At least try
