I am trying to explain this the best I can. I have family, but they are not really the affectionate kind. With my bf I was very closed off until the last few months I've learn to liked the closeness. I'm not talking sex, I mean like spending time together and just hugging or cuddling or even just talking. But now he's gone. I am not looking to go out there and find any guy. I have other problems along with anxiety and depression that make it hard for me to meet and talk to people. I just want to know if anyone has idea of how I can fill that void and no feel so needy. I do have a cat, but he's not really the most affectionate. But he does like to be pet. My mom will not allow us to keep any other pets. So any other options?

She just broke up with her boyfriend of about 5 years, if not more. Shes moved back home and I feel really bad for her. This is her first boyfriend and first breakup. Shes 29 yrs old and shes thinking about her future or lack of. Which i dont think is an issue as she is a great, beautiful person and im positive she's going to find someone who is 10 times better than her ex. I've never been in a relationship myself so im kinda lacking in advice. And I dont know we are just not very open emotionally to each other. I feel bad like im ignoring the issue because nothing has really been said about it. I cant tell if she wants to talk about it (its only been 2 days). Any advice or help or anythign would be really helpful. Thanks for reading all this too.

Five years ago I had my daughter. I am now married with another child. Recently my first "baby's daddy" came around wanting to see our daughter. While we were talking, his phone rang and he said he was "hangin with my baby mama." I asked him, is that all I am? Baby's mama? No name? He said people know my name but my status is "baby's mama." Is that good or bad? Is baby's momma the same as ho or slut? Does a baby's mama take precidence over a current girlfriend? Are we respected or just put up with? Do your friends respect us, or are we fair game? Guys, help me out! And no sarcasm please.

I have been with the same wonderful guy for over 4 years. He is cute, smart and atheletic. He is wonderful in all ways but one. We have been together for awhile, and he still doesn't know what he wants.
I know what I want, and I just don't know what I should do.
This past April I moved in with him, and now I am not sure what he wants. I know that I love him, but I don't know how much longer I can stay with him being so unsure of what he wants. Am I putting to much pressure on him, or am I being stupid. I want to move forward in our relationship, and take it to the next level, you know get married, and have a family. I am not getting any younger (26) and I want to have a family while I am still young enough to enjoy it.

Considering that its fact that very short men have much harder lives than the general population (make less money, date much much less - if at all, or remain an involuntary virgin for life) - would any of you parents, moms and dads, let your daughter date and/or marry a short guy (like 5'3"-5'6"?) So, I have been dating my boyfriend for 20 months now, and I know, I should know what to get him after that long, but I've been thinking for a while and I just cant think of anything amazing. I want it to be something special and something that he will love. Last year I got him queen tickets, and that was a bit pricey for me but I wanted to get them for him, and he was so excited! Now, what can I get this year to top that? Well, he loves music (classic rock), plays the guitar and the sax, likes basketball, tennis, and track, is president and a member in a MILLION clubs at his school- model un, mach trial, science olympiad, academic team, math olympiad and so on...so I have given you a bunch of info about him, and I know there are things I don't want to get him including...clothes, gift cards, scrapbook and/or picture of us (been there done that), poems, teddy bear, chocolate etc!! Well I guess I have narrowed it down for you. If anyone could help me out, you would be my savior!!!
