Relax and enjoy Christmas. So what if they peeked. All of us are tempted to peek.Even me and I'm a GRANDMA! Just pretend you don't know they peeked and then the fun will be watching them "act" surprised when they do open them.God blessed your child with a good curiosity.Be grateful!Merry Christmas!

just move on... kids get curious and peeking sometimes happens. You or someone you know probably did it too. If you want to send a small message.. leave the child a tiny lump of coal along with the rest of their presents, and tell them that santa knows everything and slightly accusethem of peeking at a present or some other small misdemeanor.

I did that when I was little. Then once Christmas came, I already knew what I was getting. So It took all the fun out of the whole present idea. Hopefully your kid will be like me and wont peek again!

I remember when I was in 3rd or 4th grade and I peeked at my presents!! They were hidden in my parents' closet (same spot every year...even now!) Let me tell you, the guilt from peeking and ruining the surprise for myself was punishment enough! I never peeked again.

My parents always wrapped an identical box and put it in the original gift's place. If we wanted to look, fine. But on Christmas morning all they are going to open is a blank box.
Sometimes my parents would even take the product out of the box and replace it with a pair of old shoes or something. That taught us to stop looking!

Not much that you can do except be disappointed and upset about it. Mine did that to me a couple years back and I was so mad and let down. I love to surprise my children and when something like that happens it takes the fun out of it.

You'll probably think this is mean, but when I caught my 16 yr. old son doing this one time, I returned everything. I then bought different gifts and hid them better. It's a pain to return, but it taught him a lesson, because he really liked what he found. He never snooped again. I could leave bags in his room I think and he wouldn't have looked.

Take them back. Buy different ones or put the presents in different size of boxes. Throw them off.

Peeking is normal. No big deal. Hide 'em better.
