So, I have been dating my boyfriend for 20 months now, and I know, I should know what to get him after that long, but I've been thinking for a while and I just cant think of anything amazing. I want it to be something special and something that he will love. Last year I got him queen tickets, and that was a bit pricey for me but I wanted to get them for him, and he was so excited! Now, what can I get this year to top that? Well, he loves music (classic rock), plays the guitar and the sax, likes basketball, tennis, and track, is president and a member in a MILLION clubs at his school- model un, mach trial, science olympiad, academic team, math olympiad and so on...so I have given you a bunch of info about him, and I know there are things I don't want to get him including...clothes, gift cards, scrapbook and/or picture of us (been there done that), poems, teddy bear, chocolate etc!! Well I guess I have narrowed it down for you. If anyone could help me out, you would be my savior!!!

Well, most of these other answers are pretty lame so I'll do my best to not be lame:

* Something like a PDA, (he sounds busy) to help him get organized, and if you can get one that plays music, maybe pre-upload some of this fav. songs or albums

* If you're in driving distance to Vegas, get him a night or two around the NBA all star game (feb 16/17) You won't get tickets to the game, but the casinos will be great places to watch the game, and at the MGM Grand (I think) there are a lot of all-star game activities that weekend.

* He also sounds like a bit of a nerd... nerds love gadgets, could you maybe find a cheap GPS system, and then create a geocache scavenger hunt for him to find with some sentimental things?

* Subscription to a good magazine, everyone loves magazines - everyone

's all I got

You don't have to try to top yourself every year. If you do that, you're going to end up trying to buy him a multi-million dollar yacht in 10 years. Just get him something he'd like and that you can afford. The thought of the gift is better than the amount you spend. Also, I'm sure he'd be happier to just spend time with you for Christmas than he would about a gift.

Take a picture of his guitar and sax and have someone draw it free hand or have some one paint a picture of it. On the back of the picture sign your name and say a little something about your love for him sign it and have it framed. This is something he will always look at and everytime he does he will know it was from you.

If you want a gift card from best buy, go to http://urlx.org/directtrack.com/55c2a and you will get one worth $500 and all you have to do is fill out the survey. I got mine from there and all I had to do was enter my email address. Some other good sites for clothes like old navy and stuff are:
http://linkachi.com/?836
http://urlx.org/directtrack.com/6f507
http://digbig.com/4qhym
http://doiop.com/d6ho82
For all of those all you have to do is enter your email address or zip code and reply back to them and you will receive a gift card from those stores free of charge, I got my old navy one from there and it was totally worth it.

Think about your time together. Do you have any "inside jokes" to celebrate and give him a good laugh. And really it's always about the thought.
