we broke up just before valentines day. is it wrong to give it to my new g/f if wer still together

I have been broken up with my ex-boyfriend/baby's father for 6 months. He has recently started to date and it's driving me crazy. I think I'm starting to fall in love with him again, but we have a pending criminal case for domestic violence because he threw a bottle of perfume at my head. So I'm confused as to what the smart thing would be to do...follow my heart to be with him because i miss him and love him...or just keep on trucking and enjoy being a single mom!

There are certain things I don't understand the debate about gay marriage.

To People who defend gay marriage: Why are stuck upon the word "marriage"? Isn't equal rights enough?

To people who oppose gay marriage: If you intention is to protect the institution of marriage, why are you opposed to giving gays equal rights?

This is my solution. Let's abandon the use of the term "marriage" by the government. As far as the state and law is concerned, the issues are legal and the term "domestic partnerships" or "unions" could be used for both homosexual and heterosexual marriages.

Each individual church/organization/group can have their own defnition of what marriage is, and of course others need not care about them at all.

My sister has yet to file for a divorce from her second husband and is now living with a man we disapprove of. She has been dating him for about six months and has been living with him for about three. We don't see him often. When we go to their house he spends the time in the bedroom. He hasn't come to a family gathering with our family yet. His birthday is coming up and I thought I'd send him a card just to be nice. But now my sister wants us to buy him presents for Christmas. What do you think about this? I understand he is her "family" but without making an effort to get to know us and spend time with us isn't it rude for them to expect his name to be put into the gif exchange drawing?

I have 2 brothers and I'm the only girl in the family. My mom is the only one that gets on my case everytime I want to do things on my own. I am 18 years old and I'm going to a community college and I don't have a job. I feel really hopeless. I told my mom that I'm not going to school next semester and that I'm going to work instead. She got really mad about what I said. And to be honest, I can't always make her happy by doing whatever she wants me to do. I already feel unhappy because I'm not making my own decision and that shes making it for me. I don't know what to do or say to her. I can't yell at her because thats not right. And if I do talk to her she'll just give me the silent treatment. She's been doing that for like a week now. She kept on saying for 2 years that this kid she had after they broke up was my husbands, and kept calling him and messing us that she was going to file for child support. He finally came out and told her that it was fine that she was going to file for support but we were going to request DNA testing to make sure the kid was really his. Well she got pissed off and told us that she was just going to forget it, and when the kid asks where his dad is she's going to tell him that he didn't want him. Should we go ahead and do a court order for a paternity test anyway, and fight her anyway, even though she's decided to do nothing?

So my girlfriend and I are living together,we are extremely happy. My parents and family adore her,her parents won't give me a chance,and are trying to find any chance they get to ruin us. My girlfriend has already addressed them about it. I met my roommate online because I just moved here and didn't know anyone and she DRIVES ME CRAZY. She has this obnoxious, forced laugh that keeps me awake when she's wandering around the apartment talking loudly on the phone, which she does constantly. When she's eating she smacks her lips and clangs the silverware so much that I can hear her when she's in her room with the door closed. I bought all the furniture and she's just slowly taking it piece by piece into her room and when I try to give her hints like, "Hey there's a sale at Target on chairs this week" she just ignores me. She's also constantly having guys over - yesterday when I came home from class there was a strange man in his underwear in the hallway. The worst part though is that she's ALWAYS HERE. She's a grad student so I guess that means she has a lot of free time to work, but SHE NEVER LEAVES!

I don't know what to do. Right now I am basically avoiding her. We are on a lease together until May. HELP.

O.k my boyfirend of 2 years broke up with me yesterday...and the thing is that i love him but i was talking to this guy at school (an adult achool) which i really like. there just both different in many ways..so now i don't know whether to be sad because of the brake up or happy because this other guy wants me to be his girl!

First of all, let me make known that I would never cheat on my husband.

Trojan sent me a condom free sample, and it's sitting on my coffee table. When I start thinking about it, I think to myself that I could get away with cheating. But the idea of another man touching me like literally turns my stomach. I have been paying child support on my daughter for 12 years and have never been behind. I have decided to go back to school and have recently changed jobs and lost HALF of my hourly pay by doing so. The agency told me that it would be 90 days before I could get my order reduced (which I have no problem with). My question is, that if I get a second part time job until next spring to earn some extra money, will they take a percentage of those wages and how much of a percentage? At most I will probably only be working about 20 hours a week at the part time job and not making more than probably 8 bucks an hour.
