I meet my wife in college .When we started dating things seems gravy until her parents found out about us. Their reaction was not to serve me in there Togo’s Eatery in Santa Rosa Ca also wasn’t allowed in their home for almost 6 months. We tried staying positive and combat their views with love and expectance. I would eventually be tolerated inside the home I would cook for the holidays only to be ignored at the dinner table. After 4 years. Me and my partner were engaged this brought out a lot of heat. Later an argument would blow out between me and my fiancée and her parents the comments were spitted out such as” you must think twice before marrying a black man” “If you 2 have kids adopt white kids” They had a personal right in practicing racial discrimination and that their daughter is a disappointment. Any how we left got married they weren’t their we bought our home with are good jobs and had our baby. That’s when the phone calls came in from all of our family members. Things are different with my wifes parents but I don’t trust them I don’t want to call them family nor in-laws. But they at least love our child. It’s ironic for many years I hope tried to establish relationship where I could one day be called a son in stead of a black man. Now we are invited to spend part of out thanksgiving with my wife parents and sons grandparents that he only meet 6 times in the four months that he’s been in the world. My wife is willing go but only if I want to go and I don’t. But in saying I don’t that makes me selfish because she wants to be around her family again. Yet I don’t want to go to a home were I have to be tolerated I want to be welcomed and loved. What do I do?

there is this guy i ran into about 8 months ago and we really hit it off,i was still bitter about catching my ex cheating on me(they r mutual freinds)he listened and understood,he was so sweet.he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,such a gentlman.i ran into him again about 2 months after that night and he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there and freaking out because we liked eachother.so things could not workout between us at that time.6 months later i saw him at a party and when he walked in he saw me and looked away real quick.maybe he felt awkward?my ex was also there at the time(which i dont mind,for i m over him)by the end of the night at the party,we locked eyes for a few seconds and smiled at eachother,it was as if we both knew there was something there,but neither of us will make a move.Does it seem like there is something there between us?

My girlfriend and I have been seeing each other for two months we make out and stuff and we see each other like every other week i love her very much and i say so she likes it when i tell her that, she is divorced as well as I. she has been out of her relationship for 10 months. she says she doesnt know how she feels yet, her and her ex have a house together and are selling it she is told by her ex that she has to keep in communication and can not see other people. she says it could ruin things with the divorce. (i was thinking she was talking about the money or she just wants to wait till the finality of the diivorce to get serious) my goal is so she feel more open and she's not so confused she drives about an hour and a half to see me almost once a week but now and this has happened several times where she say we need to take things slower she says this will all be over in january and we should wait till then to get serious but she want to be able to talk with me and chat

And left a HUGE scratch down the side and I am hoping he doesn't notice. It's an old car anyway, I know he always is having work done to it..."Details", he calls it, but I think it's just because it's a really old car, hopefully he won't know it was me or won't care. The paint from my car left a streak down the side, but if I go rub dirt on it will that cover it?

I'm 16 he is 46. We got a little drunk together and ended up having sex on two occasions, once I slept over at his house, he has daughters older than me.
He told me he has his kids this week and he cant see me, but he hasnt even text me back and I havent heard from him in 2 days, so I'm hoping he'll just be busy - right?
He said he is always here for me and he is a genuinly nice guy, everybody knows it, so please dont tell me not to see him again, but do you think he will call?
I dont think he will just ditch me he isnt like that he;s got such a great smile and when he holds me i feel great.
My mother has a new guy now and she has never been there for me so i dont feel bad on her, she walked out on me when i was 4.

my boyfriend does everything SLOWLY. he will take 3 days to do errands a normal person can do in one. he is highly intelligent but he just takes his good old time doing everything. i'm not the best either because i am late for everything. but he just takes it to an extreme. its soo fustrating. how can i speed him up without pissing him off?

My partner and I went through a rough patch during which I really hurt him. Although he couldn't bring himself to look at me he told me he loved me. Now we've got everything back on track and things have been perfect for months. We are maintaining a long distance relationship now (I have moved away for a year for family reasons) and I miss him terribly. The last couple of weeks I have started to doubt the way he feels and wondered if things will work out - he has cheated on past girlfriends and recently he has gone for a few long periods without responding to calls/texts, which he explains is because he's been busy with his family, work etc. I am seeing him this weekend and want to tell him that I love him, but the only time I have said this he didn't say anything in response, which is why I haven't said it again. I'm not sure what I'm really asking, sorry - but should I tell him I love him or ask him how he feels about everything first?

I am 24 years old and I met a woman who is 35 years old at work. She seemed very forward sexually and complimentary. I found out that she was a divorced mother of 3 with bipolar disorder and she was in a sexual relationship with a 42 year old man who was living with his girlfriend and we agreed to be friends with benefits. In the beginning I must admit we did just use each other for sex but towards the end of the year I got to meet her kids and know about her illness I got really close to her and really cared for her. All the while she complained about the other man using her for sex and being nasty but still kept on seeing him. Recently I have changed jobs and it seems she is in a manic phase, she has slept with other random men and told me but not the other guy about them. I did a really bad thing and told the guy what she is doing, since then no contact. I feel so guilty for doing this I know it was wrong but I think I really loved her and now she has gone. Am i a bad person?

Well, i cant go to guys houses, after my sister was *cought with her Bf in her room* ( at my house ) no guys are aloud to come over here, and whats the point of having a BF. When I was younger I worked in a warehouse with some BIG guys. 6' and taller. 200+ lbs. I was 5'10" 155 lbs. They would pick on me until I thrashed one of them. After that they wouldn't touch me but would nag me. I then proceded to verbally abuse them to the point some of them had tears in their eyes. I no longer work there, but now I feel bad about what I did. Most of them were under educated. Now I have this mean streak in me a mile wide and I do believe I get a certain sense out of messing with people. See some of my other questions (that haven't been deleted yet). Has anyone experienced something similar?

I had a dream about a guy that cheated on me in high school, and that was years ago. I hardly liked him more than a friend, (just gave into his constant asking me out) but it bothered me that he cheated on me, and I dont know if I ever let it go. The thing is, in my dream, we were in a city, and my two cousins that i dont talk to were with me, and he was there riding his bike. He and I were talking, and he went into a coffee shop and put on a mask, and came back out. I hadnt talked to him since it happened (6 years ago) and he wanted to talk about it. he was being the same prick he ever was, and we decided to ditch my cousins and take a walk to talk about it. As soon as we got the chance to take a walk, I woke up. It has always bothered me slightly and caused a lot of self confidence issues, but i dont understand what it means!
