You will have the last laugh when you have a good job with good wages and a nice house and they are stuck in a dead end job or even unemployed. So pay no notice to them and just carry on doing your best. If they can see they are not bothering you with their stupid behavior they will soon stop. Good luck xx

I'm a pretty good student too (around 90%) but no one ever considers me too smart to hang out with lol....I guess its cause you must be working too hard. I'm from India and here's a trick used by the top ten students in my class to avoid being seen as too smart by everyone else. Although we study our asses off at home...we make it a point to have fun in class, joke, talk to our hearts contents about movies, music, sports etc.. All this right in the front row! Its a lot of fun, and a real challenge to not get caught, even though we get punished for it. We have more balls than the back-benchers anyway.

DANG!! You need to limit time spent with people who don't like you and actually tell you its because you are smart!!

Don't worry about what others say. You are a wonderful, smart, independent person and you need no ones acceptence. Keep in mind after school you never have to see these morons again. Real life is sooooooooo much better than highschool and you see just who your true friends are once you are out and living it.

Best Wishes on a bright future!!

YOUR the one whos getting the Jobs in the real world YOUR the one getting a college scolorship. THEY are the ones that wont get crap and work at Mcdonalds for 30yrs. Be happy, and tell them " Well at least i can afford to keep up with life cause i be the one who will be making the cash." Is sounds rude, but people shouldnt be treating you that way. Its so rude. But good luck and im happy for you. Next time someone swears or makes a remark, tell them to shove it up there *** cause thats just so rude. they should look up to you. Or maybe Give tutoring lessons to help them, and they will be nice, like if you Ace the Test next week or w/e, and they get C's and D's, say " Well i can help you! See, # 6..." Explain how to do it.

Being smart is awesome. Be proud of yourself and know that those people are either jealous or not truly your friends. Next time say something smart but classy back to them. Let them know their comments don't bother you and you are proud that you did so great. Remember you will be the one that has a great job, house, and you won't be around those people forever. Later in life you will be able to count your true friends on one hand and if you are refering to high school, most likely there will only be one of those friends on your hand. I'm sure that your family and friends are very happy and proud of you. Those are the people that count.

Ignore them. When I was in school I was like you. I was smarter then most other students (not bragging here...stating fact...) I got near perfect grades and was devestated with anything less than a 95%. In fact, in my school district we were especially singled out because the smartest kids in the school were made to go to a special enrichment program one day a week. This would expose us to a broader range of topics and keep us from getting bored in class. People made fun of me for it saying I had no life and I was so pitiful no one would hang out with me, that's why I studies so much and got good grades. That simply wasn't the truth. In fact I rarely studied....school was just easy for me. As my classmates and I got older they grew out of it and I became quite popular for being smart and being able to help. Today I'm a teacher and my peers still come to me asking for advice. For now you have to ignore them. Keep up what you are doing and don't let them get to you. If they call you names, look them directly in the eye and say something like, I'll keep that in mind or "Oh...that's a new name for me...I'll have to add that to my collection...you guys are so creative." Respond positively to the criticism and it won't be as fun for them anymore.

Well, I never had that problem, but you have to be happy with who you are. The others are jealous of you and the hard work that they aren't willing to put into school work. Don't worry about them, be who you are, be the best you can be at all things, and you will do great in life! Congrats, honey!

Just try to think of it like this; they do not really hate you. They are mad at themselves for not being able to achieve at the same level you can. Insecurity can make people do really awful things. Keep up the good work.

just know in your heart that they are just jealous of your natural gift

i'm jealous i'll admit it. never stop striving to succeed. as soon as you do you'll hate yourself for it.

people can be harsh but you just can't let them get to you.

DON"T ACT LIKE WHOOPI GOLDBERG SURFER CHICK

it's much more attractive to be smart than an airhead. you just need to find a group of people who have the same problem and will be supportive to you.

keep studying

Just be happy and take pride in the fact that you can succeed. They don't want to work hard so they're not succeeding. It's not your problem. Good for you!
