I am vegan and get upset seeing people eat animals. I'm not a very social person as I have a lot of things going on in my head and I'm very shy and introverted. For Christmas last year we had a vegan meal and my mother thought that my sister who had gone off to university was left out, because we did something special for me. This year my sister is planning having our family and her boyfriend's family all together for Christmas and a few days surrounding it. They have only been dating for 7 months and my family aren't very good at socialising, but the other family are quite happy-go-lucky and extroverted etc. I really am dreading the whole fiasco. If I say I am not going, then I am branded as selfish, which I suppose it would be, but they have only been dating 7 months, and to expect all the familys to come together over a fair few hundred miles is a bit way out. They have agreed to eat a vegetarian meal if it means I'll come. If I say no they may go back to eating an animal though.

i am in a difficult and unpleasant family situation. when i have a disagreement with boyfriend, he will say, for example, "well, you're the one from the funny family", or, "what will you do without me, your family don't give a damn", things like that. but he normally acts helpful + supportive, it's when things aren't going well between us he goes nasty like that. does he realise this is hurtful? it makes me wish i had never confided in him about the situation

my friend had her bf for 6years til she discoverd that the guy is dating another woman for more than 2years. while his bf ias having the affair, there were no signs that the guy changed. in fact they sahare many things.my friend finally broke up w him. ints been 2months now that they dont coomunicate til one day the ex bf texted and he is getting the car which actually under his name.would it be possible for my friend to get the car and have it transferred in her name since she got a deed of sale.that document was issued for the purpose of applying for visa last 2005 but it was not pushed thru.but the deed of sale was kept and now that my friend is really in need of money, would it be oaky if she sell the car?hence her bf betrayed her and really made her miserable.please help..cause i want to help my friend

The other morning as I was walking home from work I noticed an older man being beaten with whips and chains. The beating appeared to be pretty intense because the man was bloody and bruised and his eye rolled out of his head because while I was walking I had to adjust my step to keep from stepping on his eye. I know who the two guys are who beat this man up. I see them all the time at our local volunteer soup kitchen. Should I report them or just let this incident go as all fun and games??

my ex had a gf and he had so much problems wit her and so we become gud friends,i shared his problems,gave him advices and make him forget abt sadness.later on,we were goin out,in REAL LUV.un4tunately then i got stressed out wit my family and i broke up wit him.we never tlk/look @ each ohter since that.but then sumthin happened and we became frends agen.after a week he asked me out.we dated agen for the second time.this time i realised i luv him so much.but sumthin were wrong that kept us argueing almost EVERYDAY!we went out for 3weeks then he got stressed out of arguments and HE decided to break up,he said he doesnt want to argue wit me nemore.i heard our frends said he still likez me a LITTLE.ive tlked to him tat IM STIL LUVIN HIM n want him back.but he said he wanted 2b free and wans 2b my frend.i cried alot.yesterday we hang out at my frend's house,i ACTed close to one of his frend(he thought i like this guy!)when we had dinner,he initiatively sat NEXT TO me.im confused abt that!!

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years now. He has never given me any reason to think he's cheated until the other day when he recieved a phone call while he was getting ready for work at 4:00am. I was half asleep but I noticed the tone in his voice and the words he was using, it didnt sound like he was talking to a guy. When i asked him about it he said it was a guy from work... if so then why did that person ask him what he was doing? I grabbed the phone and read the name corry. there was also another call from the same person a couple days ago at 2:53am. Ever since he has been hiding his phone. I tried to talk to him about it... he said that I was crazy and then fought with me about something else? should I trust him?

okay, i had a bad break up a lil while back - few months and i was really into himi know nothing can work out between us and ive been in the recienving end of the pain: its been abt 5 months since the breajk up

ever since alot of guys have asked me out, but i cant seem to find a need to go out with anyone, but some were really nice guys: however i am still healing my wounds that were caused to me in the previous relstionship

My boyfriend told me that all his friends are just using him. He says his life is boring. He says there are better guys out there for me. He didn't have a good childhood either.

I told him that we tend to lose the amount of friends we have as we get older. I also said that he shouldn't look into the past so much. He should focus on the future. Then he said the future isn't promised to us. I said, "Don't you have hope?" He doesn't. I told him he's pessimistic. He calls it realistic.

In the 9 months of being his girlfriend and the year before that of being his friend, I’ve never seen him like this before. It scared me.

Here I am helping so many strangers online, and I feel like I can’t even help my own boyfriend out. I feel so useless. I feel like I didn't help him. All I could do was throw in my life experiences and relate it to him so he'd know he wasn't alone. I also hugged him and told him I loved him.

Do you think I helped any? What else should I tell him? : /

there s this guy...he s not really cute n he s shorter than me(i tower over him!) but there s this mystery about him....aaaaaah.....but he s always with this girl and talks only to her.and not a lot....i cant take it anymore....im jealous! n when i talk to him he seems to be really self conscious and introverted and he hardly smiles ever...he s just really weird n i seem to like that!

My boyfriend and I have been together 9 months and in the beginning of our relationship i felt that he wasnt all about sex but now as time is going on i feel like thats what he wants everytime he sees me. I mean i love sex and all but there are times when im just not in the mood cause im tired or for whatever reason, and he cant relate to that, he thinks im offending him but turning down sex but its not like we dont do it, its just not every day. He gets visibly distraught when we dont have sex and it kinda bothers me cause theres no need to get like that, if we had sex once in a blue moon fine but thats not the case. He tells me its not all about sex, he just finds it intimate and cant help feeling the way he does and cant understand why i cant be in the mood when he is(which is like every sec of the day) and even after explaining to him he doesnt get it and still to this day gets upset when we dont have sex. and it always starts fights n i get so frustrated.what can i do? any advice?
