6 years is a long time now a days with one person. This is the sad thing that always comes out of failed relationships. When I found out mine was cheating on me, it was very hard to begin with. Then when I tried to get my personal belongings she just did nothing but cause me problems. I felt it just wasn't worth the headaches, so I cut my losses and moved on. And I'm glad because I don't have anything now that ever had to do anything with her. And that suits me just fine. Personally, I'd stay out of it unless she asked, and then I would let her make her own decisions and just be supportive. I hope she is OK... I hate break ups. Tell her I love her and admire her for being 6 years faithful!! Sound like she will make someone an awesome partner.

Wow! what a mess. In the first place who's got the title, that's what's important. Who's got the car? and, someones going to have to take possession of the car in some manner. If the person that has the car is in position of the title also, their the owner, whoever and whatever has inspired has nothing to do with anything.
This might be a job for an attorney. Whatever is happening you'd better be careful, this could lead to something serious due to legalities. Someone could get hurt.

If the documentation for ownership of the car is under the ladys name then no problem. But if its under the guys name, then she needs to approach this guy and talk it over. They are not enemies yet

depends who paid for the car. if she paid for then it's hers to sell. if he paid for it or it was a joint purchase then it's massively wrong.
