A long time ago I tossed my TV and picked up a book. Allot of people seem freaked out by the fact my living room isn't centered on the old tube. Should I reconsider introducing the old baby sitter for my friends' sake.

I don't have a TV when I had duties in remote area, long time ago. But I don't feel lonely and others don't seem freak because of that. As well as you can enjoy your time with outside activities specially with your society, your friends or your neighbors, I think why you should worry. Many informations those can you get from your interaction with them.

About your unorganized room, you can hire someone (house keeper) to arrange your room. May be your friends will help you to arrange your room together, that's better and great idea.

Absolutely Not! There is a reason you tossed the tv and the only reason for you to decide to re-introduce it ought to come from the same place. I am a fellow non-tv person and it is bliss to not have that devise around-it is nothing more but a distraction, an addiction and a brain disintegrater. Our society would have social wellness and be in much better psychological shape if the tubes were all tossed and people genuinely connected with each other. If your friends don't appreciate your higher consciousness (tossing the tv being a symbol of that) then you might want to "reconsider introducing" new friends into your life.

truthfully! I rarely watch television. i ought to certainly stay with out it and that is like I already do even even with the undeniable fact that I nevertheless have a television. i can not stand the categorized advertisements, propaganda that is continuously being spewed out, and poorly made television exhibits at the instant. i found that I truthfully have greater time on my hands to do greater efficient issues like Yahoo! solutions. Now, if i will do away with this dependancy, i would be waiting to end all of my aims in one day!

Definately not! Are your frineds there for you or for what you have on your TV? Seems kinda strange that they'd feel freaked out by it. When I go to visit a friend I want to have a conversation with them not watch TV with them. I can watch TV by myself.

NO! I really admire you for what you did. When TV got into our houses we became stupid and stopped talking to each other.
I wish I could do something like that. Don't you ever consider putting back the stupid box in your living room.
