My husband of 16 years had an affair.He also has an anger problem.We are trying (or rather I am)to hold the marriage together but my husband shows little if any effort.Basically he has said he is 'sorry' but nothing in his everyday behaviour shows it.He makes a cup of tea now and again,folds a bit of laundry,never asks me out on a date or has made any effort to make me feel loved and cherished and that I am the only woman in his life.He has also just announced that he is off to Afghanistan for 6 months(he is a soldier).The problems are not resolved and he does not want to stay around to resolve them,rather he wants to seek fulfillment in his duty as this is what 'he' needs right now.Meanwhile I am left with 3 children,and many unresolved issues.How do you work on a relationship when you are in another country and apart for six months?Am I naive to think there is any hope left?

you always hear amazing stories about couples who are each others first lovers and how they learn together and stuff.. and it really bothers me that i wont be his first...so is it okay to go ahead with it, or should i wait for a virign (that sounds stupid in print but hopefully you see what im getting at?)

he freaks out if i get a zit or a cavity. he has even said to other people, "she would be a pretty girl if she would lose a few pounds." i am feeling bad.

he stares a me sometimes. he makes me laugh like SOOO much. one time i got into trouble because i was laughing so much. he says hi to me and bye. and he calls me by my middle name. and i asked if one eye is bigger than my other one cuz my friend said it was. and he kept staring into my eyes. i dont know if he likes me or not. help plz!(sorry that this was soo long)

I should be able to deal with this by now...

About a year ago he was diagnosed with cancer. He's gotten through that, but the chemotherapy left him with lupus. Now, we talk all the time, we are deeply in love, we usually get to see each other at this point about once a week (right now it's been nearly two, which is probably why I feel so awful right now).

How do you deal with this? How do you deal with someone who is sick? How do you deal with the pain of watching them suffer, knowing there's nothing you can do about it? Yeah, I've been going through it in varying degrees for a year. But I have nobody around me who can relate to this...anyone out there who's been through this before?

my uncel died a few months and i think i have gone crazy when he was in the hospital i never whent to say goodbye to him at his wake i was so out of it it was the way he died that kills me more than anything it was the worst thing that anyone could picture at his wake i could not even look at him at his funeral i did not say goodbye to him or nothing and now i will never get to say it or tell him how much i love him ever since he died i have been wishing i died with him im only 14 my mom says i need to get out and start doing thing but now i dont have anything to live for so what is the use plus im teasing him its like im saying look at me im still here and your not and he dose not deserv (i spelt that wrong) that my mom says im feeling this way because i have not cried i dont think that it is tru why am i still on this earth and he is not god must hate me or somthing what do i do to stop hating myself thanks for any help it is grately appriceated

if you feel with everything you have in your being that you should do a particular thing-yet it isn't practical-money concerns,time of your life etc.Should you still pursue this 'dream' in spite of everything.If all you hear is the voice that says 'do it'?(p.s this is nothing dangerous or 'dodgy')I'm talking about moving and making a major lifestyle change...

When I first started dating my fiance over a year ago, he was sex crazy. When we did start having sex, we had sex all the time! Then I had to move for school and he came with me and the past six months have been awful. He argues about every little thing and eight out of ten times I mention wanting to have sex, he says something like "why can't you let it happen naturally?" (because it won't happen otherwise) "you always ruin it by talking about it!" - then I get angry and he gets angry because I'm angry. I know I'm attractive, successful, and highly sexual. Now when we do have sex which is once every two weeks these days, it's awkward, he procrastinates, makes excuses, etc and it's no longer fun, it's not good at all. I love him and want good sex! I flirt, touch, tease. I usually get rejected. Then he claims I never do these things. He gets angry if I flirt with him while we're watching a movie. What is going on? I feel like taping my engagement ring to his television.

In 5 years i have never been away from my husband for more than a night. I miss him so much. Hes been gone since Thursday and wont be home until Monday. Am i that pathetic??? I miss him so much, i cant stop crying, i couldnt sleep lastnight and i just want him here with me. Whats wrong with me, why cant i just get through this at not be such a big baby. Hes my best friend we spend every evening together. and now im taking care of the kids, alone, going to be by myself. I just miss him so very much and i cant stop crying. ok my so called **** guy just left the apartment without saying bye.
