OOOOOH Yes. And she can turn mean as rabid badger in a split second and then be in the mood for love the next. Yeah, those hormones gotta have balance or bad things can happen-usually to whichever male is unfortunate enough to be within range. The simplest of conversations somehow, to her, take on deep underlying meanings. For example "Good Morning" may get translated to "Get you fat a** out of bed and fetch me some breakfast you disgusting slob" and so on and so forth.

My advice, for the next nine months:
Don't speak unless spoken to-keep your words simple and down to one syllable.
Get rid of everything sharp or pointy in the house.
Sleep on your stomach, with one eye open-don't snore.
Invest in urban cammo and try to blend in with the living room furniture.

Absolutely, and any woman who's ever had a child will be laughing fit to burst right about now.
Your hormones are 'way out of whack and you're very much into nesting, and getting ready for that baby, and you really don't even care what's going on in the rest of the world unless it's something that is going to affect you and your baby.
After the baby arrives, there is still turmoil in the hormones, but they are slightly different ones, and have a different effect.
But yes, hormones have a profound affect on the way people think and behave.

Yep, it sure does. There is a book called "What to Expect When You Are Expecting" that has this answer in it. I suggest you get it! It is a great book for Moms AND Dads. I highly suggest that the dads read this book so that you can fully understand what in the Hell is going on during this time in your Significant Others life.
Best of luck! It is a heck of a ride but would not have changed it for any reason in the world!

Yes, a pregnant woman has a lot of hormones in her body and it does affect her feelings and thinking. It takes a lot of understanding on the part of her partner to put up with it.

YES! Those hormones are running rampant in your body and you have no control over them. Think PMS and multiply it by a hundred. These hormones are getting your body ready for the biggest event it has ever done in it's life and your life will change forever.

i'm sorry, yet that did not make any sense in any respect. Are you declaring that you took some birth control pills? they received't damage you until eventually you're taking all of them the time. the girl you stole them from is going to be exceptionally offended. She needs them otherwise she might want to get pregnant. That wasn't a somewhat intelligent element to do.

Of course that's true. Being pregnant causes you to have to deal with an over load of hormones and sometimes you can't even think straight.

More than you will ever know....I use to cry when I was out of milk and thought it was the end of the world because I had to actually drive two blocks to buy more...

Don't blame the woman though..She believes she is truelly feeling those emotions even though its not totally real to the rest of us.

Just humor the woman until it pops out.
