for a boy it's hard.....probably after the father, or William Shawn Shorter.

If you want to have fun with your last name you're pretty close. William Brian (Willie B. Shorter?)

Our girls are named Sydney, Zoe and Gertie (Gertrude) and we've gotten a lot of positive feedback.

We also considered Piper, Madison (Maddie), Tatum (Tater)

I think the names you picked out are quite lovely. It's always nice to reuse a name that was in the family. It's very honorable.

I have tons of names picked out for my children. I plan on having more than 1 boy and 1 girl. So.. I have lots of names, and hopefully my future hubby will like a few.

For Girls:
Agatha, Arya, Idalia, Xaviera, Xanthia, Sheyrena, LaShana, Vestakia, Veronica, Monica.. oh.. they go on...

For Boys:
Marcus, Valyn, Anthanasius ( Anthony), Aloysius, Sebastian, Simon, Jeremayan, Roman,..

I believe that names should have a special meaning behind them. For me, most of my names are either from Saints/Religious figures, or from stories I read growing up that have a huge amount of meaning for me. Naming them after family and friends is a great way, too. That way, they also have someone to look up to and possibly fashion themselves after.

They both sound great! Are you going to give a boy a nickname, such as Willy, Bill, or Billy?
