I have a 9-5 job. I have a boyfriend who has purchased a condo about 4 years ago. We've been together for 4 years now and have a baby girl together. I've been paying electricity bill, telephone bill, cable bill, grocery bill. Is it right for him to ask me to help him pay the mortgage? Or to ask me to pay cheap rent? We are not married and won't be married soon I know. Sometimes when we argue I tell him that he is not doing anything for me. So he says so then move out. What do you think?

My daughter is turning 6 in August and we're having a small party for her at our house. It's going to take place outside and the kids are going to play in the water. What other inexpensive things can they do for fun and what should I have for food?

He calls me and tells me to come over and wants our relationship to be like it is when they are not there. I feel aqward about having sex with this man with his grown kids awake in the other room. We usually hang out, eat together, and watch TV. Should I just pretend they are not there and hope they will be uncomfortable enough to take the hint? My boyfriend doesn't act like he cares what they think. He works at nite and I work in the daytime, so our time is limited to 1 day a week usually Mondays

My ex and I agreed on splitting things mutually because we were going to try to be friends. Come to find out...she was cheating on me during our engagement. She admitted it to me and I told her that we weren't going to work this out nicely. We furnished my house with my money and her credit. Most of the stuff is still on her credit cards. Does she get to take everything? I mean I've been paying as much as she has on the credit cards...but directly to her...no receipts. Now she wants to take everything we bought or take me to court to see what she can prove she purchased. I also paid 85% of the rent...to help her with her bills. Can I back charge her for her equal 1/2 of that as well. We were both on the lease. I'm not being shitty here.....she's just been lying to see how much she can get...I'm not being an ***...just trying to see if i am going to get screwed again or not.

We end up talkin again and later on he told me about it. I was so upset and i didnt know what to do. I can tell he loves me but whats love got to do with it. Should I stay with him and be by his side or should I move on. Im a 20 year old college student, I have no kids. He is a 22 year old man in the navy. I have asked for other people’s advice but most of them never really loved before so they think im crazy to be with him. What should I do?

I feel like I need to adopt this person as a feed the children project! It's annoying! Any suggestions?

"I heard you telling your friend 'Oh he's harmless enough'...there's almost nothing you could have said that would have hurt me so much..." - is a lyric by The Rainmakers. Got me thinking - what would be the worst or most hurtful thing you could overhear someone say about you?

the owner of the land where my daughter, her fiance and their best friends car was involved in a head on collision wants the families to stop putting floral tributes there.
We have told him to go to hell, for as long as we live and breathe we will keep putting them there at the roadside, we keep it nice, cut down the weeds and one of us tends to it every week,.
What would you say to him?

They are always stressed out, can't they just accept that they are Mothers now and their life has changed and is not about them anymore? it just seems many Mothers cause too many problems for their daughters instead of giving praise and letting them live their lives. Are miserable Mothers the cause of the worlds messed up females and is it a vicious cycle?

ok, My friend and I were talking last night about being married. I'm married, she's not. She feels like her boyfriend of 5 yrs is stringing her along because although he promised her marriage in the near future, he said this2 yrs ago, she feels like she's waiting for something that will never happen. She's talked to him about it but his answer is always the same. "We'll get married one day i promise." I know speaking for myself i wouldn't wait that long. It doesn't take a person 5 or more years to know if they want to marry you or not. While i know people who have been with men/women for over 10 years without a marriage proposal, when asked if they ever wanted to get married, it was always that one did and the other didn't. To me and this is my opinion alone. I'm not the type to play house that long with a man if i really wanted marriage. If your good enough to play wife, then you should be the wife. It's like that old saying "why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free"

My boyfriend has 2 kids, a 27yr old who just got his girlfriend pregnant, and the other is 25 and she is married and has 2 kids. She just moved out in march and now the 27 yr old who has the pregnant girlfriend is moving stuff in.
I am not kidding. One kid moves in with her husband and kids, then she moves out, then the next thing you know the other kid has moved in and then the other kid comes home for a visit and starts moving her stuff in and is telling her dad they are having a hard time financially.
Would you tell them to learn to live on their own or am I being a hard ***? Its like he is encouraging this behavior. He works 12 hour days 6 days a week and travels a lot.

my ex. when he broke up told me he would never love me again. and for the last month or so he's been begging me to hang out with him, and he then says that I make him depressed when I say I'm not going to hang out with him. He then told me he loves me as a friend, and that he's addicted to me, and that he's willing to make our friendship a rly close one. what does this mean? does he realize what he lost? or is he just playing games?

I live in the United States and my husband and I are adopting a child from another country. I was wondering if there was anyone here that was adopted in the United States, but was born in another country? If you were an older child during the adoption, how did you adjust? What made it easier on you? Do you like to know things about your birth country and culture?

And PLEASE America, don't tell me there are children in the US that need homes too. I completely understand the need of our children here at home. More than I could ever explain on Yahoo Answers. It's a long heartbreaking story as to why we ended up adopting out of country...but let's just say once we made the decision we new it was RIGHT for us!
