He's got $40 to go with and i told him to get little stuff here and there and put it together in a basket. I don't know. Like a bag of my favorite chips and my favorite energy drink and my favorite candy and some lipstick he thinks will look good on me. Any other ideas?

I have that day off of work and my husband has to work that day...so he cant plan anything behind my back unless he really sneaks around lol and he works two jobs

You shouldn't have to ask for anything. He should know you well enough to do it on his own. But if you have to ask have him do simple things that don't cost anything. Like a nice back message in the nude of course, or cooking supper on the grill or even just taking a walk together for some fresh air. Shut the phone off and just spend some time together. baby girl, let him decide. let see, from his heart, how much effort he willing to put to get you a gift. besides, most of that stuff you mention, only last for so long.
