My boyfriend and I desperately want to get our relationship right as we both want to get married but not while our relatinship is the way it is - it's not awful! But not great, like it could be - we've not grown much spiritually in two years (I have more than him I think) but he's not that happy in himself - he's slightly overweight (not loads but teeny bit tubby which I love!) He drinks more than he should, he smoked but he's now on a diet and we're heading down a brand new pathway! What can I do to encourage him more & release him more?? He's been asked to go to Egypt for a week in Sept on a conference re addictions - our pastors now asked him to head up an addictions group!!! Yay! So proud & happy for him! Anyway, I desperately want to get closer to God at this time too but I find it hard with the Bible - I mean, where do I start, you know? I tend to read snippets then think that's enough for the day, so my reading's all over the place!

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thx!

He lies about work and our future accommodation, lies about background & family history. I haven't met any family (all been killed in various accidents) or friends, I know I'm better off without him but he trapped me into becoming pregnant, says he has nothing if I leave...what do I do??? My mother'n'law lost her husband last sept. and since then-no matter what time-day or night--she needs something--clean her house, do her dishes, vacuum 4 her, at HER convenience and it should be the minute she asks--honestly how understanding can a person be, there is no physical thing wrong w/her--while we are there helping her, shes on her butt doing nothing---

We've gone for VCT but formerly agreed to wait till the wedding night which is just two months away. But now I see how disappointed she feels when I can't proceed beyond kisses whenever she comes to my house or whenever I visit her. He is 22, tells you he owns a house, yet his father and stepmother live in this house. He moves you in while they are on vacation. They come home and the stepmother is not happy. She wants to talk to both of you. But you tell her it isn't her house and to F--- Off and you don't need to read any F------ Deed to know the house belongs to the new BF. You keep using the F word and she throws you out of the house.

Would any of you girls out there do this?? And what do you guys think about a girl who behaves this way??

(This happened to me - I am the stepmother. The girl went on to marry my stepson after living with him for 5 months during which time he did not work. She stayed with him for a year during which time he committed grand larceny and ended up convicted in 2 courts (2 different counties). Took her a year and 1/2 to realize he had no ambition, no interest in working, was a slob and that most likely everything he had told her was a lie.)

We are crazy in love with each other but I being older want so much for him to have a good life. I don't want to ruin it for him because he might just be infatuated with me. He says he doesn't want children ever but so do alot of men at his age. Part of me says walk away and break his heart as its best for him but another part of me would be in ruins if I did. Then there is our wonderful society to consider. You know the wonderful accepting community we all belong to. Is is right to subject him to that kind of pressure. Or myself for that matter and my own children. I just don't know what to do. His mother is all for it.. The dad doesn't know (yet)..OMG..Thats going to be fun..Soooo anyone have any ideas, comments or advice. Thanks
