I am a 23 year old professional woman. I went through high school, undergrad and law school with my last name and just because I get married, I am not going to change it. In public, I can be called "Ms. Whatever" but officially, I worked hard for under my maiden name, not my husband's.

It lasted for two years, he says it was over a year ago. Very remorseful and begging me to stay. I am so angry and hurt, but want to move on and forgive.

A girl and myself were engaged for 2 years and had been together for 5 years. We have a 3 year old son named Colin. She says she still loves me but judging the way she kisses me and the demeanor of her friends towards me I beg to differ. I worked very hard to provide for the 3 of us but I always felt like I could do more. When we should've been filing taxes jointly, she claimed our son as well. The IRS had a problem with that, so now I owe 4,000$$ to uncle Sam, she promised to help out with (our) child relief refund to pay, but she blew every dime leaving me with that enormous bill. Needless to say, its not going so well nowdays, she rebounded into another fling, clung to someone that has no clue about her issues, therefore no arguments. She is 24 in December and he is 16. SICK!!! I know I should just forget about her but its easier said than done, probably due to emotional attachment and a 3 year old. I believe GOD has a plan for me and maybe this is what had to happen for it to work

My husband and I aren't getting along right now. I feel like I am not loved or appreciated. He pays the rent and buys the groceries. He is good with the kids. We don't agree on how he should talk to them, but he is very good to them. He and I don't go anywhere together. We don't talk about things that I feel are very important. We don't sleep in the same bed most nights. I am very overweight and I don't feel sexy at all. He makes off-handed comments about my weight or my body. Am I just being overly sensitive? Should I just be counting my blessings that I have someone who will pay bills compared to some people who have no one at all?

I have been trying for 2+ years to make it work. It has been long and tiring. He now says that he is ready to try. But then he says that he had great sex with his ex so it was something that I did 2 years ago that turned him off, but he cant remember what it is.

because of a 20 year argument we've not spoken now for a week, is it time to give up. He knows he's hiding the truth from me that could help us to move on, but he won't talk about it..hence the scilence for 7 days.

I am recently separated from my husband of almost 8 years. He is a diagnosed bipolar who refuses to take his meds. About a month ago he came home and revealed to me that he was unhappy. He then proceeded to move into his parents home, and informed me as soon as he could save the money he would be filing for a divorce. We have three small children all under the age of 7. He has already moved on romantically in all truth he did so before moving out I've come to find out recently. I am now looking for a job as I was a stay at home mother during our marriage. I'm not looking to jump right into a relationship right now, but I'm just wondering what my chances are of finding love down the road. How many men honestly would want someone with three small children? I love my children with all my heart and wouldn't begin to think about starting a relationship with someone who could not grow to love my kids....any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated...

We are in the beginning stages of our divorce. Haven't even had our first meeting yet. Anyway, in early March she abandoned our family home and took our 7 month old son to live with her father. Read on.

I had spent all of last year working 7 days a week/14 hours a day which was rough, but I had to do what I had to do to be the provider for my wife and unborn son. Provide a home, food, and maintain insurance. My wife didn't feel the need or desire to work during that time. There is more to it but that's enough of that.

Her and I made an agreement that when I were to leave that job I could find myself a better job/career to provide a better financial life and work traditional hours to spend time with my family. It is not easy making a career change, especially when you've had the year that I had and you have a newborn baby at home.

Anyway after 3 months of job searching and interviewing she left. I was crushed and had trouble doing anything. I'm sure some people can relate.
