Just be there for her and try to take her mind off him by having other conversations. If that is difficult, then try to let her know that everything happens for a GOOD.

How do you be their for a friend that has a big problem.
she need to find a way to help her slef. This is a issue that will come up agin in her next relastionship. What you need to do is talk to her about her jealous issues find out why she has them and what she is a fraed of in a relationship and i know what she is going to say "i'm a afriad of getting heart" that is everyones line. trust me there is something that is deeper than that. talk to her see what it is? don't let her problem become yours k....

Just LISTEN. She will probably spend all her time crying and talking about him at first, but LISTEN. She needs to get it out and whatever you do, DON'T say that it's her fault. She probably realizes that already. Don't be exasperated with her when she goes on and on and on about him and how great he is, just LISTEN. I can't emphasize that enough....LISTEN. She doesn't want advice and don't put him down (they may get back together); she just wants someone to nod in understanding and let her talk.

Be a friend to her and be a listening ear and shoulder she can cry on. Be someone she can pour out her feelings to and talk wiht. Help her as much as you can. This is the best thing you can do for her!

It doesn't matter if it was her fault or not - you should still be there for her and comfort her. You are her friend - friends support eachother no matter what.
