Marriage & Divorce - 10 June 2006

I've just got this job and a customer, who is our company's regular customer, asked me out to lunch on the phone a few days ago. I let him down gently, however, I gave him my cell number in return for his. He asked me to call him this weekend and I haven't called him yet. He ended up calling me today. Do you think he likes me? Is it unethical to go out with him? By the way, I'm married. Is it wrong if I do even though I only think of him as a friend?

my girlfriend lives in NY
and she needs a lawyer cuz she is gonna finally break up with her abusive husband but is scared to cuz she got two kids with him and he might take cus. of them and she doesnt want that
and plus he got "lots of connections" so she wont make a move
but me and her already planned to get married next year

Dont tell me to move on or get a life. They deserve it, and gratification would be sweet. One of the things I did was to subscribe him to some porn magazines and had them delivered to his neighbors house. Her phone number and a little note about her got posted in numerous men's restrooms. In a suttle way they need and deserve to suffer. Anyone have any good ideas?

I need help. I'm in a marriage that I know is going south, but she is in denial. I am totally miserable. I have no friends because she has run them all off. I have no family to go to because they are 700 miles away. and she wont allow me to call them I can't do anything that cost money. She has money but I can't use it or ask for any. I work and pay the bills, so my money is always gone. I am in no ways a wimp. I try to keep peace for my kids. and even they can see how its affecting me.

My husband's b-day is today, and I haven't figured out what to do for him yet. We spent all our money fixing the stupid car, and he's due home in an hour. Any suggestions? We are in the beginning stages of our divorce. Haven't even had our first meeting yet. Anyway, in early March she abandoned our family home and took our 7 month old son to live with her father. Read on.

I had spent all of last year working 7 days a week/14 hours a day which was rough, but I had to do what I had to do to be the provider for my wife and unborn son. Provide a home, food, and maintain insurance. My wife didn't feel the need or desire to work during that time. There is more to it but that's enough of that.

Her and I made an agreement that when I were to leave that job I could find myself a better job/career to provide a better financial life and work traditional hours to spend time with my family. It is not easy making a career change, especially when you've had the year that I had and you have a newborn baby at home.

Anyway after 3 months of job searching and interviewing she left. I was crushed and had trouble doing anything. I'm sure some people can relate.

If marriage is about "trust" as so many people have stated in my previous question, why is it that men can't take their wives name? or is the answer that this is a society that values men dominating women? Why not exchange names? Why does it have to be "all or nothing"? There should be some compromise.

My husband and I were at a party last night and he ended up crashing out just after midnight.. I stayed up around the fire with all the rest as were drinking up a storm. My boyfriend and I have been having relationship problems in the past and myself and a couple of guys stayed up till the birds came out talking about it, they really helped me. The problem is I we ended up in our camper trailer as it started to rain and then I ended up on my knees in front of them both.

Is this cheating as I never took off my clothes ? + what should I do if my husband gets suspicious and asks anything as we have been married form 18 years and we both want to continue to get through this roug time.

Are kids of today, greedier, and do they have more emotional complexes than children of the past, when it comes to love and money? Because children believe, if they are given enough child support, then their absent parent loves them. But if they do not, then they are taught, it is because that parent is a dead beat and no good. So there for, teaching our children of the future, that materialistically, is the only way to gain love. And if you don't have it, you are not worthy of anything.

I have hundred fifty-thousand on myself that my husband will get if i die plus my car,he has hundred fifty thousand for me also,but lately hes been making jokes about me dying,saying things like "haha your fever is 103,150thousand il be rich".is it so bad to worry hes up to something since people have been known to be killed due to insurance money/

married for ten years and then my wife walked out on me 3 days before christmas like it was nothing she told me it was because i was a angry person so i took anger management to prove i loved her but she wouldnt even stick by my side how ever after i graduated class she came to see me graduate but she was seeing another guy wtf why would she come to see that even tho she was with someone else aka her boyfriend. needless to say i learned alot from that class its 2 years later and still alone just wondering why women are like that plz answer
