The statistics for divorce say that any marriage that lasts longer than 5 years is long-term. But, personally, I wouldn't consider a marriage short of 20 years long term.

I think that depends on who u are talking to. I would consider anything over 6 years to be a long term marriage today.

Till death do you part "is considered long term" anything short of that is short term! Regardless if the marriage lasted 2 weeks and your spouse died or a lifetime, it is considered long term "till death do you part!"
