Go for it. I don't believe her either. If she's still lying then obviously you can't trust her. This is where you have to make a stand ..... it's everything or nothing. The truth or the end. There's no middle ground here, unless you want a lifetime of frustration and anger.

I think that quoting the Bible in terms of wanting revenge is an excuse firstly. Secondly, why would you want to know his name anyways? He didnt take vows with you and you dont have the right to "get even" with everyone that hurt you. Recognize that you had some (albeit possibly a small) role in this and decide if you want to forgive or let the relationship go. If you choose to forgive, which is what it seems like you have done, you cant "punish" her for her transgressions, thats not forgiveness. Either forgive, or dont....but if you choose to, then you have to find out what can be done on BOTH ends to make things better...not just hers.

Why would two wrongs make a right in this situation?
I think you would seriously regret it if you do something intentionally hurtful to your wife after she hurt you. It seems like it might be satisfactory in the moment, but not worth lowering yourself in the end.
If you want to quote scripture, you can also go to the passages where it talks about turning the other cheek and that vengence is God's responsibility, not ours.
Good luck in figuring out where you go from here-- hopefully you can work past the hurt and make things work for both of you.

If it's ruined the relationship, get a divorce or separation. But don't publicize it. Even if it's not slander, because you can prove it, it' an invasion of privacy and an "intentional infliction of emotional distress" if you try to publicize it to those who have no right to know, or to the public. Forget the Old Testament: remember Jesus's teaching to forgive.

Well doesn't she look even more like the whore if she only knows the guys first name. I don't understand what you're doing with the personals column though....the best revenge would be divorcing her and let her live with her mistake while you find someone that will stay faithful and take their vows seriously.

It can't be labeled as slander if it is true. You may think more about defamation of character; even though this is what you are trying to do. This will only be an issue if she is smart and if you have proof, then I am thinking not...

Truth is a defense to libel or slander, but you had better have convincing proof. Truth is NOT a defense to an invasion of privacy suit.

slander is hard to prove, my ex gf went around telling everyone, my friends, her church members that i burnt her trailer down, she even said it in court in front of a judge, i was told nothing could be done about it, slander laws are not for common people, but i would check with a attorney first

if your proof will hold up in court no but the best way to get her back is to tell some of your friends that are girls and then tell them when they see her to say slut or whore or something to that effect it will really hurt her feelings
