I do believe the saying is true. But my reason is sad. My older brother died when he was 23, his baby boy was 2 weeks old, he is now 14. I know my sister-in- law wouldn't change anything even after all the pain she has been through. His dying also changed me, it brought home to me the fact that we aren't promised tomorrow. I would rather take a chance on love, than to never have known love at all.

Better, in my opinion, to have love and lost. What is this world without love? What would everyone be like if they didn't love someone else and didn't feel all the wonderful feelings that comes along with love? I would hate to think what I would have been like without love in my life.

I am in wicked love with my bf and i wouldnt trade it for anything. Even if I lost him one day at least I would have experienced what i have and make my life that much more special and complete. So I agree that its better to have loved and lost than never at all.

To love and lost is better. Garth Brooks said i would rather miss the pain but i would have missed the dance.The journey can be a wonderful experience.There is limited opportunity to learn all by yourself. Peace.

To have loved and lost and least you know that you have tried and it is best to try and to learn and keep trying then never to have ever at all!

it is better to not have loved at all when you feel like jumping in front of a train when you realized he never loved you-------what a waste of time and life and feelings!!!men can make you more miserable than they can happy.
