My husband went fishing, something he doesn't really like with a friend. I already asked him to go with me but he really didn't want to. Until his friend asked him. Is it wrong of me to feel hurt because he wouldn't go with me?

Sometimes we boys need to hang out with the boys.

You shouldn't feel hurt.

You didn't say where you wanted to go, maybe he didn't want to go there with you. You said he didn't really like to go fishing so why would he go fishing with someone when he doesn't like it. I really don't think he went fishing. I think it is okay to be hurt no matter what the situation was unless he can give you a good reason and not an excuse as to why. You should express to him that he hurt your feelings and made you feel as if his friend was more important than you.

I see why you're hurt. It wasn't a good idea when you asked, but when a friend asked, he jumped at it. When I was first married this would have bothered me. Stay married a long time, then you won't give a funk where he is! He probably just needed guy time. Schedule an outing with a friend of yours. You'll feel better.

Yes I would feel hurt. Fishing is something that you enjoy and wanted to share that with him. Personally I think he was a dick for turning you down and going with his friend.

I am not saying it is wrong but i sure can see why you are hurt here. Why dont you do something with him that he likes to do sometime and have fun with him that way! This will make up for it and should make you feel better about it!

your feelings are only mutual;if you feel truly deserted as though he is putting others before you. In my opinion he doesn't regard you very highly. you are his other half, if there is anyone he should have gone fishing with it is u. In spite of his negativity towards you i won't tell you to render evil for evil. still show him love if perhaps it may convect him.
Eventhough you have been hurt, focus on the bright side of things, at least he doesn't hit on you, or cheat on you .

It's very natural for you to feel hurt about this. You should talk to him and see why he wouldn't go with you. Tell him how it made you feel.

You have every right to feel hurt but it is important to keep in mind that he probably didn't hurt you on purpose.
