It's a hard questions to answer. We answer some questions and possibly start talking a bit to some people on here.
If you take it very slowly and don't reveal too much personal information too quickly, you should be ok. I wouldn't divulge my address or phone number unless I have been talking to them for a long time and had a very positive feeling. Exchanging e-mails and even pictures are not a real problem. You can also tell alot by how they answer or ask their questions. Just use your best judgement and trust your insticts!

I would not trust anyone on here unless you get to know them really well and for a long time and meet them in person after a while as well. Just be careful and dont rush and do things you may regret later!

It's hard to put a trust in something that you can't see..only words..but if you try and read between them..you may find your answer..it's not easy trust me..but try and reach a point that you pick to back off from the one that you are talking to..kinda like playing poker..set your limit and when you get to that point..leave the game

I think AFRAID is a better term. If I were a young girl / boy I would be afraid. You are in Great Danger and being young you don't see the big picture. Be careful and don't TRUST anyone. This is a dangerous arena to play around in. LOL

To trust you have to know this person. Without knowing someone you have some trust but while getting to know someone is when you start building trust. Online we can say anything about us, you would never know the difference so that is why when getting to know someone online you never give them personal info about yourself. The world is full of crazy people so we have to be careful even when meeting them without the internet. Just remember it is you that has the power to know when something doesn't seem right..

I seem to live such a conservative lifestyle that I have few friends really. It doesn't bother me. I'm sort of reclusive. But so many like to go out and do the things that don't interest me, so it's hard to build up a list of close friends. I admire those who are more outgoing and seem to have very close friends whom they communicate with often.
