Friends - September 2007

a very close female friend of mine, who is 10 yrs my elder, married & possibly going 2 go thru a divorce, moved 1000 miles away a month ago. we lost contact during her last couple of months, but had at 1 point a very close relationship as friends. have not heard/spoken 2 her since she left. & found out 2day that she has no interest in talking w/ me & had told a mutual friend of ours that she did not want the friend 2 give me her new phone #. leaving me in a state of thoughts i call a clusterfuck. knowing that she doesn't really want 2 talk w/ me or doesn't want me contacting her. even though all the thoughts, emotions, & feelings i have 4 her r still as strong as they have ever been. How do i go about dealing w/ this? should i live w/ her choice & never speak w/ her & keep everything bottled up basically killing myself from the inside out, OR should i call her & try 2 speak w/ the woman in whom doesn't want 2 speak w/ me? please help, 4 i truly do not know what 2 do.

Does a true friend call you fat my supozable bffl always calls me fat and is mean to me and we get if alot of fights about .. ok so she called me a hipicret when shes much worse than me / i liked this boy and i showed her him and she said he was cute and asked him out in my face then got mead at me cause she thought i asked him out after should it be me questing her i mean i liked him first and i showed her him like any friend would right ....................................thx for answering and tell me what you think about it

ok, wel i dont knwo where to start, ok..well iv noticed that i get very sad at times, then i feel ok, i lost friends that i trust to talk to. because i had my best friend but she has changed too much. to the point that i dont think shes mature enough to give me adivice, and my as for my other friends i dont know them well enought that i will talk to them about my problems. and i have many problem (as we all do) but i find myself getting soooo mad to the point that i want to hurt someone. and i tend to take it out on my family and friends. i feel like crying. i have no one to talk to. anything to make me feel better will be great thank you.

Ok guys i am crying! My friend and i were supposed to go on a trip but i didnt go because i over slept. We have been friends for 8 years and she told me i lied to her and i over reacted to another friend. I over heard what she said and i am not lying. i want to get councling help from my school but i just cant do it im to scared to go alone i want none of my friends to know that im going to be taking counsling. How can i bring myself to the counsler what do i say to him/her? im just to afraid. I have a lot of problems with my past molestation, sometimes i think and wonder if my moms b.f will ever do anything like that to me i worry even though he is nice and he has never done anything to disrespect me but isnt that how it usually starts out i need help so any tips on going to a school counsler? im 15 in highschool

Ok, I turned 19 in late July and I still view myself as a regular teenager. I'm in college, still supported by my parents, I enjoy being a teen, no responsibilities, hanging out on the weekends, and when i'm home, I even have chores. I believe i'm a teenager still I mean, c'mon (Nine-TEEN)
but, some of my college buds who are 18-19 who also are supported by their parents, have chores while home, etc. etc. insists that we're adults... so, we are legal in some senses but, we don't function, think, or live as adults (thank god) (I actually hate that i'm in my last teen year!) I never understood the rush to give up the best times of your life Your TEENS are the best. What's so good about being an adult... I don't think 19 is an adult... but, my parent-depending friends do.

Any opinions?

I have a friend who have been looking for a job for almost 2 years now..her field is customer service and to me it dont seem long to find a job in that area. She goes on many interviews and never gets hired..Now here's the thing she drinks every night and then wakes up in the morning to go on her interviews she may stay up until like 3 am and her interview is like 9am. she cant understand why she is not getting hired.

I have tried to explain to her maybe its b/c she is up all night drinking. She claims she gets up in the morning and be there on time. However, I can always tell is someone may have been drinking the night before I'm a manager in a large office..... could they smell the beer on her I dont know........

I know and have been great friends with this girl for 5 years (im 19). She has always had a dramatic life and I have been through it with her. Every single up and dramatic down.

Well, I've never really gone to her like that, my problems are just the typical family problems. Nothing serious. But this past year Ive been feeling very bad because of some home problems. A few months ago I went to her house, expecting to have my bestfriend comfort me and give me herself like Ive done for her countless times before. But I get a "Oh I cant talk to you now I have company" and get pushed back to my car. Since then Ive had an inner grudge that just wont go away.

I feel like thats not a friend. Also before she use to call me non stop everyday for nothing. Again these past few months she only calls me when she needs something, and when I used to call her to say "lets go out" she would always blow me off.

I just feel this anger towards her, what do you think.

I have a question, me and my crush sit next to eachother in biology why has he never looked down on my boobs? I have never seen him and its weird most guys look at your boobs but no my crush looks at me in my eyes. I'm 15 and I met this really cute girl in school three days ago. I really like her...

The first day I met her was in class - I was assigned as one of the four leaders and I was gonna call my friend over, but the cute girl and her friends came to my group first. She told her friends that I was really smart. She also sat next to me and we talked a bit, and she drew a small ♥ on my workbook.

Second day, not much, she just said "hey, i noticed you're in my third period."

Third day she asked me where I sit in my 3rd period, and she started to say stuff like "i hate where i sit!". I already knew where she sat, but asked her where she sat just for conversation.

Fourth day she asked me if I had a myspace, and she gave me her email address and made me repeat it so I dont have it messed up. I emailed her but she didn't respond, but then I noticed she wanted me to find her myspace via email address. (im so stupid!) so i added her around 11pm and she didn't accept it yet, because shes not home

I cut. My best friend found out and now she doesn't want anything to do with me. She won't even talk to me when I say "Hi". This kind of sucks seeing as we are roommates. Now she tells me she's on anti-depressant medication because of me. Now the extra guilt and stress of losing a best friend is making want to cut even more. I think I will explode if i don't cut, but I don't want to. I can't control myself and i have no one to turn to. And being alone all the time doesn't help. I become more depressed and that makes my cutting problem worse. Help...

She means very well. We both live out in California right now down the street from eachother because both of our husbands are in Iraq together. So, we are on our own for 7months and we hangout alot. We have alot in common and its nice that someones going through the same thing. But alot of times, she just tries to act like my mother. She congratulates me when i go to the gym ( i go everyday ). She always asks me if im getting certain things done while my husband is away and always nagging at me about things.And if there is something i dont get to do right away shell be like " you have to do that soon blah blah blah! " ..The only person who should be asking me if i am doing things is my husband when he calls.....Shes a really good friend but does anyone know what i can do about this? It's driving me nutty!!!!!

In my house we don't have a home phone all we have is my mom's cell phone because we share our house with other people. My best friend keeps calling me and then my mom gets mad because we keep running out of minutes because she talks a lot with me on the phone. I'm a sophomore and I was inviting a couple freshman boys to my sweet 16 party. This really annoying ninth grade black girl came over by me and like told me I needed to invite her. So i just met this girl like 2 months ago but we've gotten really close. She decided to hook me up with her best guy friend, whom at the time i didn't really know how close they were. Me and him started hooking up or whatever (which i don't usually do w/o a relationship but for some rediculous reason i did). Since the begining shes told me not to expect anything from him... but he proceeded to lead me to think he really liked me. Like an idiot i started like him and we have been hooking up now for a month. (Detail: I don't chase after him at all and he has no idea he i even like him) Today she decides to remind me that he doesn't want a relationship out of the blue.. weird. guess he told her to tell me? but yeah... i decided to stop talking to him, because i'm not going to hook up with no strings, i'm not like that. so she tells me "it's fine, he's a pimp he'll get over it. and dont get mad if he starts hooking up with me again." Wow, is this messed up or is it just me being sensitive?
