ok, my idol is vanessa anns hudgens and my friends keep calling me a stalker!!! i mean i have posters of her and when i buy mags and i cut out pics of here! what should i do about my friends??

or must you accept that they are merely aquaintances and not friends, if they seem to hold your friendship in such low regard, that they cant be bothered to visit you or keep in touch?

A group of friends and I had planned a road trip for Saturday. The father of one of the guys going got sick and is dieing. He went to be with his father, which just happens to be to the place where we planned the road trip. The rest of us were going to cancel the trip (we were going to a huge party there). When I told the guy this, he said no to us cancelling and that he expects us to be there no matter what. Anywho, I am still going but the others are not. Now they are upset with me for still wanting to go. I explained to them that this guy wants us all to be there. I get the impression it is for moral support, you know a friendly face, a bit of diversion from a stressful situation. This guy's dad has been sick for a long time so this is not sudden news about his declining health.

Would you go to be with one friend at the risk of upsetting other friends? I really want to go support him. He sunded like he really needs his friends around him.

ok so these girls have been bullying me for a while(as in almost a year). these girls used to be my best friends, but i noticed for quite a while(try months) that they havent been treating me right. they used to just corner up on me and make fun of me,i just got so sick of it. i finally cracked, and told them they were treating me wrong. after that, i thought maybe they would change their ways, but they just stopped being friends with me and started throwing stuff at me on the bus and humiliating me in front of everyone. i told my mother but she says to ignore it and to laugh at them. im so sick of being so strong all the time. they continue to do it. i am dreading the beginning of the school year cause i will see them everywhere, at lunch, on the bus, in classes even after school on the sports team. ever since then, all my other friends have been treating me diff, i think they just got tired of seeing my sad face and asking me what was wrong. im so lonely and so depressed.

well recently,this girl started working wit us. she was ok at first but now that im gettin to kno her she seems to b gossiping wit another one of my co-workers..nd apparently it seems like she talks trash bout me..so now both of them r always together gossiping.i really hate ppl like that nd i dont want to quit my job becuz of her. I was friends with her in HS, shes married now with kids, only time i hear from her is when she just had a baby and now she calls to announce she and her hubby brought a home.
Last time we spoke was 2 years ago, i wanted to talk more, she had to go. Never called me back. I even sent a baby present for her daughter, she called me to say when she spoke to me last she wrote my new adress on a pizza box and threw it away by mistake.. I felt she was lying..so i gave it to her again.....Heard from her last year, she left a message saying "im in the city lets get together tonight" I was working all night so i called back right away left a message saying "im working lets get together another time"
Never heard back from her until now, 1 year later to tell me shes moving.. She never even sent photos of her family and she has my email or even invited me over to see them....

What is she looking for? This is not a friend?

Last week I went 2 an arts festival with her expecting to see art and listen to bands play in one of the largest festivals of its kind in the U.S. We spent almost the entire evening with some of her friends trying to buy cheap beer at a tavern on the site of the festival and pouring it into the cups they charged $6 a pop for at the concessions.
When it was time to leave, she told me the festival wasn't what she expected and the reason she gave was that there were almost 60% black people there. She's too ignorant to talk to about this, I think. And if that wasn't bad enough, on the train home, we were standing next to 2 guys seated right next to us. They were around 21 and white. Out of no where, she asks them, "So are you guys gay? That's ok. I love my gay men." I about jumped off the train at that point. I sat down next to them and apologized for her. She wants to see my new home. I don't feel like calling her bc of her behavior. She gave me a card to congrat me on the home.

I got this impression since the day I arrived to SC; more "flirt" messages from girls in their 20's, and sometimes from teen-agers.

It all started with this pervy teacher who filrted with my friend in class by making her stay after class and leaning and sitting on her table in class. Then he left leaving her his email address, she also flirted back with him so no one feels sorry for her.
He then joined a one man band (lilterally) and is somewhere on myspace, he makes his songs and puts pictures of terrorists and bombs and dieing children on there and now he is out to get us because as a joke we sent an email saying we are a fan of his music but our friend that flirted with him told him the thruth and we used to be in his class and he knows who we are and is out to get us what should we do?

I confronted her....because she hasn't responded to my phone calls or emails...she then says we are not *tight* friends.. I'm hurt by this because she was one of my best...and for her to say this really hurts.... (I'm moving next week 5,000 miles away) and she says that since we be far apart she doesn't see how we can be friends . What the f**??? I'm very upset and heartbroken....this move was supposed to be exciting.

Okay..i met a guy in college and we became bestfriends fast. we went everywhere did everything together...always hung out all the time 24/7. Then we met a girl we both liked. We both would flirt with her..and one day in his room we were all on the bed, I laid on his back and she laid next to us and we took a nap. that night we all slept in the same bed 2gether. him in the middle. I laid on his chest and slept...I lost and they started dating. I was jealous. and I told him I didnt want to be friends and when we didnt talk he told me he thought about me everyday, can't see himself not being friends with me for life..and when we first became friends that he loved me more than his family, that I was the most imporatant person in his life..I dunno I am so confused! I have an xhousemate who left on really bad terms, she abused me and left my house in a total mess and took advantage of me, for reasons only known to herself.
We share mutual friends. Recently she's getting her boyfriend to ask other ppl in the group if I've been bitching about her. I don't believe I have anything to worry about as I haven't been bitching but I am concerned that now she's involving other people in this ridiculous childish behaviour. I have taken the approach of getting along with my life and I'm happy in most aspects of that. But she just keeps causing me trouble. I don't see her, talk to her, msg her but she still keeps managing to create issues when I don't have any contact with her at all, even though we do share mutual friends. I just want to get along with my life. I'm not sure what to do about this, should I stop hanging around my friends to prevent them getting involved? I'm 24 years old. I would have thought this is high school but here I am...plse help???

i mean cuz i didnt think it was right that she was 14 an didnt know what periods an sex was! her mom would always make a note so she couldnt watch the sex ed vieos in school an sex ed talks and she came up an asked what sex was i surprised she didnt know an then when i started my period i told her an she said she didnt know what that was either! an now her mom thinks im a bad influence that i told her! an now she wont let me talk to her. she even made it so we wouldnt go to the same highschool we barely talk now.
why does her mom think im such bad influence i think its better for her to know now than finding by having sex an gettin pregnant

my mom and i were at my new house looking at my yard of 8 acres and she looked back at me and said you are the luckest childed i had i said i am.lol. p.s.i really didn't know what she was talking about. until she said this. "when i look outside at the 8 acresi see pain, when i look at the halls i see pain, life isn't fair."
i cried.
-she means she's to old and is out of shape and can't do what i can.
i thought she meant out of my brothers and sister. because my sister is leaving for collage and brothers moved out so i'm living the life. not....

I have a friend that I made at work. I am a man and my friend is a woman. She no longer works for the company, but we used to talk to each other a lot outside of work like on the phone and online. We weren't going out with each other. We were just friends. She used to call me up at home just to say hi. A couple of months ago, she stopped calling me and only talked to me at work. Then left the company and we really don't talk to each other anymore and I haven't seen her for a while. I do miss her. Interestingly, she pretty much stopped calling me and messaging me online when she got herself a boyfriend. Hmmm? What do you make of that?

I've known S since 7th grade (about 13 years ago) by 9th grade we were inseparable. Fast forward to HS graduation, I go off to a univ. in upstate NY, she goes off to univ. in Wisconsin. We were great at keeping in touch. She started dating a guy senior year (whom I accidentally introduced her to...long story) and they've been together ever since. We've had many a fight about how much I hate him, how badly he treats her and etc. She would just blow me off about it and wouldn't listen. They're still together, I guess I've just chosen to live with it. But I really think, subconsciously, that HE is the downfall to our relationship. We hardly talk anymore, maybe twice a month, a little more. She won't come visit me and I can't visit her due to lack of funds. We haven't seen each other since April. We catch each other in the rare times we're both home in NY. It's really unfortunate and I don't want to lose her but I don't know what to do anymore. Can I still consider her my best friend?

i was wlaking my dog today ad=round the block and i notice he is panting so he needed some water so i went up to a house and i knew a kid from school that lived there...his dad answered and i poliley asked him if i could get some water for my dog. my dog was drinking he called the kid from school and both of them were in the door way..the dad kept asking me qustions..how was your summer? blahblah blah ext... the boy just stood int he door way and smiled..i kne w him froom school. he is very but i must say (cute). he broke up with his girl cause they never talk..guess they are both shy. then he asked out a popluar girl she said no. so he is single. anyway I asked him if he wanted to hold my dog since my dog is sooo tiny. but his dad says he was alergic and the boy is too. he just sat ther the wholetime and smiled..i just wander does he like me? does he think of me somethimes? i mean we do talk in school. girls you know like when you look at a guy and he smiles. so does he like me?
